Paying the fare

Ticket machines for BART and fare gates are located inside the station concourse.

Adult Muni Fast Pass is accepted for trips anywhere between this station and Embarcadero Station. Just insert the Fast Pass into the fare gate when entering and exiting the platform.

Boarding the train

This station features center platforms.


Platform 1: to Daly City, to Millbrae, to SFO.


Platform 2: to Downtown San Francisco and East Bay.


After 7pm and all day on Sundays, and do not run. Take other trains and transfer at Oakland City Center/12th Street Station or Bay Fair Station.

Transfer station

Balboa Park is the designated transfer point between the line serving San Francisco Airport/Millbrae and other East Bay lines. Passengers riding in either direction should wait on the same platform for next trains.
