Sacramento RT accepts cash and Connect Card for fare payment.

- Daily pass can be purchased with cash at the bus farebox or light rail ticket machines. Connect Card users simply pay one way fares until the daily pass rate is reached and no more fares will be deducted (daily best fare).
- The 90 minute rides on light rail also extends to bus transfer with Connect Card.
- Discounted fares require
- Special Connect Card with a photo ID, which can be obtained from transit offices.
- RT Photo ID for seniors, disabled, and students. Pass is available in form of a sticker attached to card.
- School ID is only accepted to pay for single ride fares and daily passes.
Seniors 75 years or older can purchase Super Senior Monthly sticker for $40.00.
