How to take Link

Before boarding the trains, buy your train ticket from a ticket machine or use an ORCA card. Fare is determined by the distance you plan to travel (range from $2.25 to $3.25 for adults). Link uses the proof of payment system and passengers caught without a valid ticket or pass are subject to eviction and/or citation. OCRA card riders need to tap on at a yellow card reader before boarding and tap off after exiting so that proper fare is charged.

Bicycles can be taken aboard the light rail at all hours on all cars with no additional fare. To ride on the light rail with a bike:

  • Board the train through the two center doors (with a bike decal)
  • Lift your bike vertically into the rack located near the center section (joint)

Bicyclists can also stand by the doors at the center portion of the car and hold on to their bikes.

Disabled access

All stations provide complete level boarding between platforms and trains. Elevator access is available at underground and elevated stations.
