This underground station has three street entrances on 7th Street (at Figueroa, Flower, Hope) and from The Bloc.

Metro Rail
This is the transfer point between Metro B D lines and A E lines. This station features two-level underground platforms. A/E trains use the upper level side platforms. B/D trains use the lower level center platform.
Ticket machines are available at the underground station concourse. First time riders must purchase a reusable TAP card with a fare from the machine before boarding. All riders must pass through the turnstile with a valid TAP card or TAP-enabled ticket/transfer and keep the card or ticket for the duration of the ride.
When transferring from B/D to A/E, see signs at stairs, escalators, or elevators for correct platform on A/E lines. Transferring passengers (who should have a TAP card or TAP-enabled ticket) need to validate the card or ticket at a reader located near the stairs before boarding the next train.

Elevators are available (1 each) at Lebanon St, Flower St, and The Bloc entrances. Lebanon St elevator goes directly to A/E Platform 2 (Long Beach, Santa Monica) and The Bloc elevator goes directly to A/E track Platform 1 (Azusa, East LA), both outside turnstiles. Flower St elevator goes from street to a small concourse (outside turnstiles) above A/E tracks. Separate elevators go from the small concourse (inside paid area) to Platform 1 and 2 for A/E lines. Another elevators go from Platform 1 and 2 (inside paid area) to B/E line platform one level below.
