Proposed August 2018 Service Changes

Capital Metro routinely makes changes to streamline and improve service and to accommodate shifts in ridership. The changes proposed for August 2018 are designed to build on the implementation of [/remap Cap Remap], adjust to typical in-session school year demand and improve the rider experience while maintaining system efficiency.

The proposed changes will go before the Capital Metro board of directors on June 25. If approved, they would take effect Sunday, August 19.

Capital Metro invites ongoing feedback year-round about overall service and the customer experience, and that input is incorporated into the service change development process. In addition, we will provide opportunities for the public to provide input on these proposed changes both in person and online. We are dedicated to meeting the public transit needs of the Central Texas area and understand first-hand the need to relieve congestion on our streets and provide quality transportation alternatives to our fellow citizens.
