Service Changes

Below, please find various changes to METRO local bus and Park & Ride service, effective Sunday, Aug. 23.

Routes being replaced

33 Post Oak - replaced by METRORapid Silver Line (route 433) which will run along Post Oak Blvd. through the Galleria area, connecting Uptown Houston to:

  • Northwest Transit Center (on the north end of the line)
  • The new Westpark / Lower Uptown Transit Center (on the south end of the line)

NOTE: Route 20 Canal / Memorial is replacing the portion south of Richmond to the Bellaire Transit Center.

312 Grocers Shuttle - replaced by 5 Southmore which will offer:

  • Direct access to H-E-B (Highway 288 service road and North MacGregor)
  • Better connectivity for residents of OST / South Union and Greater Third Ward
  • Permanent service to/from the METRO Southeast Transit Center
