King County Metro's all-day, frequent, regional network continues to welcome more riders to transit. After restoring 36 routes in October 2021, Metro will revise schedules and make further improvements starting March 19, 2022.

Riders will see more bus trips added to Metro's frequent transit network in Seattle, as well as improved connections to schools, better access to hospitals on First Hill, and more night trips in southeast and central Seattle. Learn more about the route revisions.

Route revisions

Route 5

Several trips will be added on Sunday to meet Seattle's Frequent Transit Network.

Route 7

On weekdays and Sunday, trip times will be adjusted between 7:00 p.m. and midnight to provide 15-minute service frequency.

Route 12

Several trips will be added on Saturday to meet Seattle's Frequent Transit Network.

Route 14

Trip times will be adjusted between 6:40 p.m. and 7:25 p.m. to meet Seattle's Frequent Transit Network.

Route 20

On weekdays, one northbound trip will be added at approximately 6:40 p.m. to meet Seattle's Frequent Transit Network.

Route 21

One northbound trip will be added on Saturday, and several trips will be added on Sunday to meet Seattle's Frequent Transit Network.

Route 48

On weekdays, one northbound trip will be added at 3:35 p.m. to align with Seattle Public Schools bell times.

Route 49

On weekdays and Sunday, trip times will be adjusted between 7:00 p.m. and midnight to provide 15-minute service frequency.

Route 50

On weekdays, one trip will be added at 7:24 a.m. to align with Seattle Public Schools bell times.

Route 60

On Saturday and Sunday, one southbound trip will be added at approximately 11:34 p.m. to meet Seattle's Frequent Transit Network.

Route 105

Route 105 will move from Bay 6 to Bay 7 at the Renton Transit Center.

Route 106

On weekdays, other than Wednesday, two southbound trips at 2:23 and 3:31 p.m., and one northbound trip at 3:18 p.m. will be added to align with Seattle Public Schools bell times. On Wednesday only, two southbound trips at 1:08 and 2:16 p.m., and one northbound trip at 2:03 p.m. will be added to align with Seattle Public Schools bell times.

Route 107

On weekdays, other than Wednesday, two southbound trips at 2:23 and 3:31 p.m., and one northbound trip at 3:18 p.m. will be added to align with Seattle Public Schools bell times. On Wednesday only, two southbound trips at 1:08 and 2:16 p.m., and one northbound trip at 2:03 p.m. will be added to align with Seattle Public Schools bell times.

Route 124

On Saturday, one northbound trip will be added at approximately 5:50 a.m. to meet Seattle's Frequent Transit Network.

Route 128

On weekdays, one southbound trip will be added at 3:35 p.m. to align with Seattle Public Schools bell times.

Route 269

An additional weekday morning trip will be added to meet the morning bell time for Eastlake High School.

Routes 302, 303

Select PM peak trips will be adjusted to better meet shift times of First Hill employers.

Route 342

Route 342 will move from Bay 7 to Bay 6 at the Renton Transit Center.

Route 345

On Saturday and Sunday, one northbound trip will be added at approximately 11:05 p.m., and one southbound trip will be added at approximately 11:30 p.m. to meet Seattle's Frequent Transit Network.

Route 635

Weekday peak service will be reduced from every 15 minutes to every 30 minutes.

DART 907

DART Route 907 will move from Bay 7 to Bay 6 at the Renton Transit Center.

South Lake Union Streetcar

On weekdays, service frequency will be reduced from every 10 minutes to every 12 minutes between 7:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. to improve service reliability

ST 522

Route 522 will no longer serve the Green Lake P&R, it will instead terminate at Roosevelt Station.

ST 545

On weekdays, service frequency will be reduced slightly in mornings, approximately 6:45 a.m. to 10:20 a.m., and afternoons, approximately 4:00 p.m. to 6:45 p.m.

ST 550

On weekdays, service frequency from Bellevue to Seattle will be reduced slightly in mornings between approximately 7:00 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. Weekday service frequency from Seattle to Bellevue will be slightly reduced in the afternoon and evening, approximately 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. On weekdays, Saturday and Sunday, one additional trip from Seattle to Bellevue will be added at approximately 12:20 a.m.
