Service Change Info
This schedule is effective from September 23, 2017 thru March 9, 2018
Metro will be adding trips and adjusting schedules to improve service reliability and on-time performance on 43 routes. Also, priority trip adds to address overcrowding during the peak periods will be made on five routes.
Metro will also be adding trips to routes 60, 131, 169 and 269 to improve service levels. These investments are being made as part of the adopted 2017-2018 Metro budget which includes the addition of more than 300,000 annual service hours to improve service throughout King County. The City of Seattle is providing additional funding to improve service frequency and to expand service on 11 routes.
Metro will also be making changes to several routes, including the addition of Night Owl service on 18 existing routes, extending selected Route 124 Night Owl trips to Sea-Tac Airport and moving Route 62 from 1st Ave to 3rd Ave in downtown Seattle and, on evenings and weekends, from 35th Ave NE and NE 55th St to NE 65th St in northeast Seattle. Most of these changes are also funded by the City of Seattle.
