Metro Transit (Minnesota) 12-2-2017

Effective Saturday, Dec. 2, changes were made to routes operated by Metro Transit & Maple Grove Transit.

Below is an overview of the changes.

Updated printed schedules are available on buses and trains and at Metro Transit Service Centers.

ROUTE 3

  • Westbound overnight trips to downtown Minneapolis between 11:45 p.m. and 5:15 a.m. will have a a new timepoint at 7th St. & Nicollet Mall for better connections.
  • Schedule times will be adjusted.

ROUTE 5

  • Schedule times will be adjusted during weekday afternoon.
  • Timepoint shifted from 7th St. & Hennepin to Nicollet Mall and 8th St. & Hennepin to Nicollet Mall for better connections with Nicollet Mall routes.

ROUTE 7

  • Northbound overnight trips to downtown Minneapolis between 11:45 p.m. and 5:15 a.m. will have a a new timepoint at 7th St. & Nicollet Mall for better connections.
  • Southbound and northbound overnight trips to downtown Minneapolis between 11:45 p.m. and 5:15 a.m. will have a a new timepoint at 6th St, 7th St. & Nicollet Mall for better connections with Nicollet Mall routes.
  • Schedule times will be adjusted.

ROUTE 9

  • Eastbound trips to downtown Minneapolis will have a new timepoint at 8th St. & Nicollet Mall for better connections with Nicollet Mall routes.
  • Schedule times will be adjusted.

ROUTE 10

  • Service returns to Nicollet Mall.
  • Schedule times will be adjusted.

ROUTE 11

  • Service returns to Nicollet Mall.
  • Schedule times will be adjusted.

ROUTE 12

  • Timepoint at 17th & Mainstreet will be replaced by new stop at Shady Oak Rd. & Excelsior Blvd.
  • Schedule times will be adjusted.

ROUTE 14

  • Southbound and northbound overnight trips to downtown Minneapolis between 11:45 p.m. and 5:15 a.m. will have a new timepoint at 6th St., 7th St. & Nicollet Mall for better connections.

ROUTE 17

  • Service returns to Nicollet Mall.
  • Schedule times will be adjusted.

ROUTE 18

  • Service returns to Nicollet Mall.
  • Schedule times will be adjusted.

ROUTE 19

  • Timepoint at 7th & Hennepin replaced by return of timepoint at 7th & Nicollet for better connections with Nicollet Mall routes.
  • Schedule times will be adjusted.

ROUTE 20

  • First northbound stop will be changed 9th St. & Chicago.
  • Schedule times will be adjusted.

ROUTE 22

  • Timepoint shifted from 7th St. & Hennepin to Nicollet Mall and 8th St. & Hennepin to Nicollet Mall for better connections with Nicollet Mall routes.
  • Schedule times will be adjusted.

ROUTE 25

  • Service returns to Nicollet Mall.
  • Schedule times will be adjusted.

ROUTE 30

  • Timepoints at Broadway & Emerson and Broadway & Johnson are removed from timetable, but buses will continue to serve those stops.
  • Route will be operated by First Transit using smaller buses.
  • Schedule times will be adjusted.

ROUTE 32

  • Expanded morning service on weekdays.
  • Expanded evening service on weekdays and Saturdays.
  • All trips will be operated by Metro Transit using larger buses.
  • Schedule times will be adjusted.

ROUTE 59

  • Service returns to Nicollet Mall.
  • Schedule times will be adjusted.

ROUTE 94

  • Eastbound trip starting at 6:11 a.m. will now be 94D.
  • Eastbound trip starting at 6:23 a.m. will now be 94F.
  • Westbound trips currently starting at Fillmore & River Park Plaza at 6:55 a.m. will now start at Union Depot at 6:58 a.m.

ROUTE 264

  • Five northbound and five southbound midday and evening trips will be eliminated due to low ridership.
  • Alternative service is available on Route 61 or Green Line to A Line.
  • Schedule times will be adjusted.

ROUTE 294

  • Stop currently labeled Imation will now be called Slumberland.

ROUTE 355

  • New westbound trip leaving Woodbury Theater Park & Ride at 7:43 a.m.

ROUTE 515

  • Route returns to 66th St.
  • Schedule times will be adjusted.

ROUTE 612

  • Eastbound evening trips schedule times adjusted to better serve 2nd shift work quit times.

ROUTE 670

  • Schedule times will be adjusted.

ROUTE 671

  • Schedule times will be adjusted.

Maple Grove Transit

ROUTE 780

  • Schedule times will be adjusted.

ROUTE 781

  • Northbound trip leaving 2nd Ave & 10th St. at 1:16 p.m. eliminated.
  • Schedule times will be adjusted.

ROUTE 782

  • Schedule times will be adjusted.

ROUTE 783

  • Schedule times will be adjusted.

ROUTE 785

  • Northbound trip leaving 2nd Ave & 10th St. at 2:43 p.m. will be eliminated.
  • Southbound trip leaving Parkway Station at 5:00 a.m. will be eliminated.
  • Schedule times will be adjusted.

ROUTE 787

  • Southbound trip leaving Maple Grove Transit Station at 1:51 p.m. will be eliminated.
  • Schedule times will be adjusted.

ROUTE 788

  • Schedule times will be adjusted.

ROUTE 789

  • Schedule times will be adjusted.
