Metro Transit (Minnesota) 3-17-2018

Effective Saturday, March 17, changes were made to routes operated by Metro Transit & Maple Grove Transit.

Below is an overview of the changes.

Updated printed schedules will be available on buses and trains and at Metro Transit Service Centers beginning March 3.

ROUTE 9

  • Schedule times will be adjusted to better match travel times all days of the week.
  • The two afternoon westbound 9B trips will start from 9th & Portland.

ROUTE 18

  • Schedule will be adjusted to account for 66th St. construction.
  • Southbound weekday trip leaving 32nd & Nicollet at 3:20 p.m. will be eliminated due to low ridership.

ROUTE 19

  • New Saturday morning trip leaving Brooklyn Center Transit Center
  • Schedule times will be adjusted to account for Penn Ave. and Brooklyn Blvd. construction.

ROUTE 23

  • Schedule will be adjusted to account for 35W construction detour.
  • Buses will stop on 38th St. just west of Hiawatha Ave. at 38th St Station temporarily during construction at station.

ROUTE 54

  • Schedule times will be adjusted to better match travel times for all days of the week.
  • First two westbound trips will begin 5 minutes earlier all days of the week.
  • New later weekday eastbound trip leaving Mall of America Transit Station at 1:04 a.m.
  • Some night and Sunday trip times will change to improve connections or reliability.
  • W. 7th St. & Madison St. will no longer be shown as a timepoint in the schedule, but will still be a bus stop.

ROUTE 74

  • Schedule times will be adjusted to better match travel times all days of the week.

ROUTE 115

  • Schedule times will be adjusted to better match travel times.

ROUTE 250

  • Northbound 250N trip leaving 2nd Ave. & 11th St. at 4:08 p.m. will be added.
  • Schedule times will be adjusted.

ROUTE 294

  • Eastbound trips will be rerouted onto the I-94 eastbound entrance ramp at 6th St.
  • Eastbound stops at Broadway St. & 5th St., Kellogg Blvd. & Broadway St. and Kellogg Blvd. & Lafayette Bridge will no longer be served.
  • Schedule times will be adjusted.

ROUTE 350

  • Eastbound trips will be rerouted onto the I-94 eastbound entrance ramp at 6th St.
  • Eastbound stops at Broadway St. & 5th St., Kellogg Blvd. & Broadway St. and Kellogg Blvd. & Lafayette Bridge will no longer be served.
  • Both eastbound and westbound schedule times will be adjusted to better match travel times.

ROUTE 351

  • Eastbound trips will be rerouted onto the I-94 eastbound entrance ramp at 6th St.
  • Eastbound stops at Broadway St. & 5th St., Kellogg Blvd. & Broadway St. and Kellogg Blvd. & Lafayette Bridge will no longer be served.
  • Schedule times will be adjusted.

ROUTE 355

  • Morning schedule times will be adjusted to an even 10 minute frequency for most of the morning.

ROUTE 361

  • Southbound trips will be rerouted onto the I-94 eastbound entrance ramp at 6th St.
  • Southbound stops at Broadway St. & 5th St., Kellogg Blvd. & Broadway St. and Kellogg Blvd. & Lafayette Bridge will no longer be served.
  • Schedule times will be adjusted.

ROUTE 364

  • Southbound trips will be rerouted onto the I-94 eastbound entrance ramp at 6th St.
  • Southbound trip times will be adjusted to better match travel times and prevent delays at Newport Transit Station.
  • Southbound stops at Broadway St. & 5th St., Kellogg Blvd. & Broadway St. and Kellogg Blvd. & Lafayette Bridge will no longer be served.

ROUTE 515

  • Route will be temporarily detoured due to phase 2 of 66th St. construction.
  • Schedule times will be adjusted all days of the week.

ROUTE 645

  • Schedule times will be adjusted to better reflect travel times all days of the week.
  • Some weekday eastbound trip times will be adjusted.

ROUTE 760

  • Schedule times will be adjusted to better reflect travel times.

ROUTE 768

  • Northbound afternoon departure times will be adjusted to better balance loading.

ROUTE 805

  • Schedule times will be adjusted to better reflect travel times.
  • Southbound weekday trips leaving Main St. & 3rd Ave. at 3:08 and 4:08 p.m. will leave at 3:15 and 4:15 p.m.

ROUTE 850

  • Southbound trips will be rerouted onto Coon Rapids Blvd. between Avocet and Egret for improved service conditions.

ROUTE 852

  • Southbound trips will be rerouted onto Coon Rapids Blvd. between Avocet and Egret for improved service conditions.

Maple Grove Transit

ROUTE 781

  • Southbound trip leaving Maple Grove Transit Center at 5:15 a.m. will depart 10 minutes earlier at 5:05 a.m.

Minnesota Valley Transit Authority

Many Minnesota Valley Transit Authority (MVTA) routes had service and schedule changes that took place Saturday, Feb. 17.
