These routes will change on March 9
Effective Saturday, March 9, changes will be made to routes operated by Metro Transit & Maple Grove Transit.
Below is an overview of the changes.
Updated printed schedules will be available on buses and trains and at Metro Transit Service Centers starting Saturday, Feb. 23.

A Line
- Schedule times will be adjusted all days of the week to improve reliability.
ROUTE 2
- Added weekday eastbound 2C trip will leave Anderson Hall at 9 p.m.
- Eastbound weekday trip leaving Anderson Hall at 9:10 p.m. will leave at 9:20 p.m.
- Added Saturday eastbound 2C trips will leave Anderson Hall at 8:54, 9:24 and 9:54 p.m. and early Sunday at 1:15 a.m.
- Schedule times will be adjusted for all days of the week.
ROUTE 3
- Schedules will reflect the new westbound routing on 3rd St. in downtown Minneapolis. (Eff. 1/7)
- On weekdays and Sundays, eastbound trips will be added to improve evening frequencies betweenAnderson Hall and Como Ave./Eustis. Trips are timed for connection with Route 2 at 4th St. SE & 15th Ave. SE.
- The eastbound Saturday 3S trip departing Ramp B/5th St. Transit Center at 8:25 a.m. will be eliminated due to low ridership.
ROUTE 5
- Southbound trips will move from 8th St. to 6th St. in downtown Minneapolis due to reconstruction project. These trips will not serve Ramp A/7th St. Transit Center.
- Schedule times will be adjusted for all days of the week.
ROUTE 7
- Schedules will reflect the new westbound routing on 3rd St. in downtown Minneapolis. (Eff. 1/7)
- Schedule times will be adjusted for all days of the week.
ROUTE 9
- Schedule times will be adjusted for all days of the week.
- Eastbound Sunday trips leaving 46th St. Station at 1:17 a.m. and 6 a.m. will be eliminated due to low ridership.
- Westbound Sunday trip leaving 46th St. Station at 11:01 p.m. will be eliminated due to low ridership.
- Eastbound buses will not serve Ramp A/7th St. Transit Center.
ROUTE 14
- Schedules will reflect the new westbound routing on 7th St. in downtown Minneapolis. (Eff. 1/7)
- New stop at 7th & Nicollet will replace stop at 4th & Nicollet.
- Schedule times will be adjusted for all days of the week.
ROUTE 18
- Schedule times will be adjusted for all days of the week.
- Northbound trips will be extended via Washington Ave. to 4th Ave. S.
- Southbound trips will start at 4th Ave. S & 3rd St. S and continue via 3rd St. to Nicollet Mall.
ROUTE 19
- Southbound trips will move from 8th St. to 6th St. in downtown Minneapolis due to reconstruction project. These trips will not serve Ramp A/7th St. Transit Center.
- Schedule times will be adjusted for all days of the week.
ROUTE 22
- Southbound trips will move from 8th St. to 6th St. in downtown Minneapolis due to reconstruction project. These trips will not serve Ramp A/7th St. Transit Center.
- Schedule times will be adjusted for all days of the week.
ROUTE 25
- Southbound 25L trip that leaves Nicollet Mall & 3rd St. at 5:37 p.m. will leave at 5:40 p.m.
ROUTE 32
- Schedule times for weekday service will be adjusted to better reflect travel times.
- Westbound trips currently departing Rosedale between 8-9 a.m. and 2-5 p.m. will depart later.
ROUTE 39
- Southbound trips will move from 8th St. to 6th St. in downtown Minneapolis due to reconstruction project. These trips will not serve Ramp A/7th St. Transit Center.
- Ramp B/5th St. Transit Center will become new timepoint and stop location.
ROUTE 63
- Schedule times will be adjusted for all days of the week.
- Westbound late night trip for all days of the week will be retimed to leave 6th St. and Cedar at 11:30 p.m.
ROUTE 64
- Weekday schedule will be adjusted to better reflect ridership, and midday trips will be better spaced between Route 54M trips to Maplewood Mall.
- Eastbound weekday trip currently leaving 5th & Minnesota at 11:18 p.m. will leave at 11:22 p.m.
ROUTE 68
- Northbound weekday trips leaving 80th & Concord at 5:46 and 6:19 a.m. will now leave Inver Hills Community College at 5:41 and 6:14 a.m.
- Route 68E and 68J service will now terminate at 75th & Concord instead of 80th & Concord.
- Northbound trips starting at 75th & Concord will serve 80th St. before turning north on Dawn Ave.
ROUTE 74
- Westbound school trip serving Cretin-Derham Hall, leaving Randolph & Snelling at 2:48 p.m. will be eliminated due to low ridership
- Schedule times will be adjusted for trips serving Johnson High School to better reflect actual travel times.
ROUTE 75
- Due to an operational issue, buses will move from Ashley Lane to 50th St. in Inver Grove Heights.
ROUTE 83
- Select early morning and evening trips, including all service after 7 p.m., will be eliminated due to low ridership.
- Schedule times will be adjusted.
ROUTE 134
- Schedule times will be adjusted to better reflect actual travel times due to downtown construction projects.
ROUTE 146
- Northbound schedule will be adjusted to better reflect travel times through the 35W corridor.
ROUTE 156
- Northbound schedule will be adjusted to better reflect travel times through the 35W corridor.
ROUTE 250
- Southbound trips in the morning rush hour will begin 5 minutes earlier due to 35W construction project.
ROUTE 252
- Southbound trips will begin 10 minutes earlier due to 35W construction project.
ROUTE 288
- Northbound trip now leaving 1st Ave. & 14th St. at 5:07 p.m. will leave at 5:11 p.m.
- Southbound trips will begin 5 minutes earlier due to 35W construction project.
ROUTE 294
- Eastbound trip leaving Smith Ave Ramp at 5:44 a.m. will be eliminated due to low ridership.
- Westbound trips leaving St. Croix Valley Park & Ride at 5:33 and 6:33 p.m. will be eliminated due to low ridership.
- Eastbound trips leaving Smith Ave. Ramp at 4:37, 5:08 and 5:39 p.m. will no longer serve downtown Stillwater due to low ridership.
- Westbound trips leaving St. Croix Valley Park & Ride at 6:33 a.m. will no longer serve downtown Stillwater due to low ridership.
ROUTE 417
- Schedules will reflect the end of the long-term detour during the of the Smith Ave. bridge closure. (Eff. 11/26/18)
ROUTE 452
- Schedule times will be adjusted to better reflect actual travel times due to downtown construction projects.
ROUTE 467
- Northbound schedule will be adjusted to better reflect travel times through the 35W corridor.
- Northbound routing will be extended to new final stop at 4th Ave. & Washington Ave.
ROUTE 535
- Schedule times will be adjusted to better reflect travel times in the 35W corridor.
ROUTE 537
- Route extended on weekdays past Normandale Community College to Beard Ave. & 108th St. to allow for service to senior housing complexes and Valley West Shopping Center.
ROUTE 539
- New Route 539A trips will no longer serve Normandale Village to better reflect demand along the route. Trips serving Normandale Village will be named Route 539B.
ROUTE 552/553
- Northbound schedule will be adjusted to better reflect travel times through the 35W corridor.
ROUTE 554
- Northbound schedule will be adjusted to better reflect travel times through the 35W corridor.
ROUTE 558
- Northbound schedule will be adjusted to better reflect travel times through the 35W corridor.
ROUTE 578
- Northbound schedule will be adjusted to better reflect travel times through the 35W corridor.
ROUTE 588
- Northbound trip leaving Normandale Lake Blvd. & Green Valley Drive at 5:23 p.m. will be eliminated due to low ridership.
ROUTE 597
- Schedule times will be adjusted to better reflect travel times in the 35W corridor.
ROUTE 716
- Northbound Saturday trip leaving Robbinsdale Transit Center at 6:10 a.m. will be eliminated due to low ridership.
ROUTE 724
- Schedule times will be adjusted to better serve shift times at new Amazon sort facility in Brooklyn Park.
ROUTE 755
- Southbound trips will move from 8th St. to 6th St. in downtown Minneapolis due to reconstruction project. These trips will not serve Ramp A/7th St. Transit Center.
Maple Grove Transit
ROUTE 781
- Southbound trip leaving 94th Ave. & Dunkirk at 5:40 a.m. will move to 5:37 a.m. for to allow for better transfers with the METRO Green Line.
