Bus Service Change Improvements
Effective February 10, 2019

The Bus Service Change Improvements provides a summary of the upcoming service improvements to OC Bus. This service change will provide minor schedule and routing adjustments to several routes, as well as launch a new Bravo route 529 on Beach Blvd.

Schedule Adjustments were made to the following routes: 26, 29, 35 37, 38, 42, 43, 50, 53, 56, 64, 66, 70, 71, 79, 82, 85, 87, 89, 90, 91, 129, 143, 167, 177, 213, 453, 472, 473.

New Routes: 529, iShuttle 404E & 405F

BUS NEWS

Route 29 - Effective February 10, 2019 Route 29 and 29A will no longer serve the Buena Park Metrolink Station or Goldenwest Transportation Center and Bella Terra between 6 am and 6 pm Monday - Friday.

NEW Route 529 Launches - Coming February 11, new Bravo Route 529 will provide faster bus service along Beach Blvd.

OC Bus Mobile 2.0 Update - Upgrade February 10 to Version 2.0 of the OC Bus Mobile App offering everything you-d want from an upgrade. Here-s a peek at our improvements:

February 10, 2019 Bus Service Change Improvements

ROUTE 29

Weekdays: Implement new schedules due to the implementation of Bravo Route 529.

During the hours of operation of new Bravo Route 529, Route 29 and 29A trips will not serve the Buena Park Metrolink Station (BPMS) or the Goldenwest Transportation Center (GWTC) from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm. Below are your options to reach these destinations.

Goldenwest Transportation Center

  • Bravo Route 529 will take you there faster and more direct if you are travelling to and from Fullerton, Buena Park, Anaheim, Stanton, Garden Grove, and Westminster.
  • You can take Route 29 and exit the bus at Stark (if traveling southbound) and at MacDonald (if traveling northbound) and complete your trip by walking or using the OC Flex service (www.ocflex.com) or exit at McFadden and transfer to Route 66.

Bella Terra Area

  • Bravo Route 529 will take you to the GWTC and then walk to the Bella Terra area.
  • You can take Route 29 and exit the bus at Stark (if traveling southbound) and at MacDonald (if traveling northbound) and complete your trip by walking or using the OC Flex service (www.ocflex.com) or exit at Beach and McFadden and transfer to Route 66.

Buena Park Metrolink Station

  • You can take Route 29 and exit at Beach and Artesia, then you have a choice to transfer to Route 21 or Route 25, whichever is more convenient and fits to your schedule.

ROUTES 21, 33, 60, 66, 701

All Days: Routes may experience intermittent delays due to the I-405 Improvement Project.

ROUTE 529

New Bravo Route 529 Launches: Coming February 11, new Bravo Route 529 will provide faster bus service along Beach Blvd. weekdays with service between the Fullerton Park and Ride and Goldenwest Transportation Center.

ROUTE 453

Weekdays: Adjust AM trips to start 6 minutes later so that Google Transit Trip Planner offers Stationlink trips as a viable connection. There is no change in service connections.
