Sound Transit 9-19-2021

September 19, 2021 service change - South corridor bus routes, Sounder South and Tacoma Link Changes to Sounder and ST Express bus routes operated by Pierce Transit will be implemented between Sunday, Sept 19 and Monday, Sept. 20.

ST Express buses

560 – West Seattle to SeaTac to Bellevue: Adjusting scheduled travel times to reflect current traffic levels. Permanent "detour" routing in Renton to avoid traffic congestion. Effective Sunday, Sept. 19.

566 – Auburn to Overlake: Permanent "detour" routing in Renton to avoid traffic congestion. Effective Monday, Sept. 20.

577 – Federal Way to Seattle: Adjusting scheduled travel times to reflect current traffic levels in Downtown Seattle. Effective Sunday, Sept. 19.

578 – Puyallup to Seattle: Adding 10:43 p.m. departure from Seattle on weekends. Adjusting scheduled travel times to reflect current traffic levels in Downtown Seattle. Effective Sunday, Sept. 19.

580 – Puyallup to Lakewood: Adding one trip between Puyallup and Lakewood coinciding with the restoration of Sounder train 1507 (2:35 p.m. from Seattle to Tacoma). Effective Monday, Sept. 20.

590 – Tacoma to Seattle: Adjusting scheduled travel times to reflect current traffic levels in Downtown Seattle. Effective Monday, Sept. 20.

592 – DuPont to Seattle: Adjusting scheduled travel times to reflect current traffic levels in Downtown Seattle. Effective Monday, Sept. 20.

594 – Lakewood to Seattle: Adjusting scheduled travel times to reflect current traffic levels in Downtown Seattle. Effective Sunday, Sept. 19.

595 – Gig Harbor to Seattle: Adjusting scheduled travel times to reflect current traffic levels in Downtown Seattle. Effective Monday, Sept. 20.

596 – Sumner to Bonney Lake: Adding one trip between Sumner and Bonney Lake coinciding with the restoration of Sounder train 1507 (2:35 p.m. from Seattle to Tacoma). Effective Monday, Sept. 20.

Sounder trains

Sounder S Line – Seattle to Tacoma/Lakewood: Train 1507 (2:35 p.m. from Seattle to Tacoma) and its corresponding reverse train (1520, 4:06 p.m. from Tacoma to Seattle) will be restored on Sept. 20, 2021.
