VIA 8-28-2017

VIA Metropolitan Transit will implement several service improvements beginning August 28, 2017:

Route 79 will be modified to travel westbound from Ruiz St. to 19th St. before continuing route on Martin St. The route will travel eastbound from Ruiz St. to 24th St. then on to W. Martin St. and 19th St. before continuing regular route back on Ruiz St.

Route 505 (westbound only) will be modified after departing Randolph Park & Ride to travel on Fratt Road and Interchange Parkway before continuing regular route westbound on Walzem Road.

There will be schedule adjustments to the following routes: 2, 3, 4, 14, 20, 24, 34, 62, 66, 76, 79, 100, 524, and 640.

New pocket schedules are now available online. Printed schedules will be available at all VIA Information Centers and on buses. To see how these changes may affect your travel, use the online Personal Trip Planner up to 14 days in advance, and enter a trip date later than August 28, 2017.
