Valley Metro 4-25-2022

Background Valley Metro and City of Phoenix service changes occur to develop an effective regional transit system that supports Valley communities, businesses and residents. These service changes have been approved by the Valley Metro Board of Directors (for Valley Metro-operated service) and the Phoenix City Council (for City of Phoenix-operated service.)

These changes are scheduled to take effect on April 25, 2022.

Effective April 2022 Service Changes

  • Route 128—Stapley Dr: Expand weekday service span to 5 a.m.-10 p.m. Improve Saturday and Sunday service span to 6 a.m.-9 p.m. and increase frequency to 30 minutes.
  • Avondale ZOOM: Modify route to run along 107th Ave. and Thomas Rd. instead of Lakeshore Dr. and 111th Ave. Change timepoint locations for rider convenience and efficiency.
  • Phoenix—MARY Circulator: Extend route along 59th Ave. to run clockwise around Estrella Village via Fillmore St. and Roosevelt St.
  • Scottsdale 68th St/Camelback Rd: Extend route along Camelback Rd. to provide service to Indian School Rd. between Miller Rd. and Hayden Rd.

Some trip times changed on the following routes: 43, 45, 61 (school tripper), 72, 128, 156, MLHD, Orbit Earth.
