Coaster fares

Coaster is a commuter rail service between Oceanside and San Diego. It runs 7 days a week and operates along the same tracks as Amtrak's Pacific Surfliner trains. It connects with Sprinter light rail and Metrolink at Oceanside Station. At Santa Fe Depot Station and Old Town Station, Coaster connects with San Diego Trolley. Coaster is a service provided by the North County Transit District, but it charges higher fares than other NCTD services.

Selected Pacific Surfliner trains (as shown on the Coaster timetable) stop at all Coaster stations (when Coaster is not in service). One way and round trip Coaster tickets are accepted on those Pacific Surfliner trains only.
