Deviated fixed route

From Transit.Wiki

Deviated fixed route is a bus service that has a designated route and scheduled times but has windows in the schedules that allow the bus to go off route to do pick ups/drop offs. These deviated pick ups/drop offs generally need to be reserved in advance, and may have restrictions on who can request for deviation (such as senior or disabled passengers, and those who are qualified for paratransit). Deviated fixed route service allows more locations to be served (especially for those who have mobility issues) without having these locations to be included on the designated route or having to provide a separate vehicle for door to door service.
