BSicon LOGO Amtrak2.svg Hiawatha is an Amtrak Midwest (state sponsored regional Amtrak) service between Milwaukee and Chicago. Trains operate daily with multiple trains departing about every 2 hours in each direction. The Borealis to/from the Twin Cities also operates along the route (as extension of originally Hiawatha train).

The Empire Builder trains operate on this corridor enroute to/from Seattle and Portland with 1 daily round trip.

Only coach service is provided. No reservation is needed for this train. Bicycles can be carried on board with reservation.
