This bus shares the same route as 45-Union-Stockton between Caltrain and Chinatown.
Due to the construction of the Central Subway, this and line 45 have been rerouted in the Union Square area in the inbound direction. A temporary line 8-Shuttle will provide service along the original route through Union Square between Chinatown and Folsom Street.
