AC Go March 2017 Service Changes

Effective Sunday, March 26, AC Transit will implement the following service changes.

• Line 275 will be temporarily suspended until further notice. <a href="http://www.actransit.org/flex/">AC Transit Flex </a>service is available.
• Lines 60, 94 and 217 will have service adjustments to reflect changing ridership

Complete list of service changes effective Sunday, March 26, 2017:

11	Discontinued, but lines 18, 33, 96, and 611 will offer replacement service.
12	Line 12 will be extended northward along Martin Luther King Jr. Way. It will continue northward and then turn west to serve Hopkins St. and Gilman St., to a terminus in West Berkeley on 4th St. at Harrison St.Also, bus stops served by Line 12 on Broadway in downtown Oakland will change. Toward Berkeley, Line 12 will stop at 9th St. instead of 10th St. Toward Jack London Square, Line 12 will stop at 13th St. and the south side of 12th St. (Peet’s) instead of at the north side of 12th St. (Wells Fargo Bank).
18	Service between Broadway in downtown Oakland and Montclair will be offered by Line 33. Line 18 will operate from Broadway to Lake Merritt BART on 7th St. and return on 8th St.
19	The end of the line in Downtown Oakland will now be on 11th St. at Jefferson St. The line will not stop on 14th St.
25	Discontinued, but lines 12, 79 and 80 will offer replacement service.
26	Discontinued, but lines 14, 29, and 36 will offer replacement service.
29	New line will serve Hollis St. in Emeryville, as well as areas covered by former lines 26 and 31. It will operate from Emeryville Public Market to Lakeshore Ave. & Wala Vista Ave., Oakland, via 65th St., Hollis St., Peralta St., West Oakland BART, 10th St., 11th/12th streets, and Lakeshore Ave.
31	Discontinued, but lines 29, 57, and 96 will offer replacement service.
33	New line will serve areas covered by former lines 11 and 18. It will operate from Montclair to Estates Ave. & Inverlieth Terr., Piedmont, via Park Blvd., Downtown Oakland, Kaiser Center, Harrison St., Oakland Ave. and Highland Ave.
36	New line will serve areas covered by former lines 26 and 49. It will operate from Bancroft Way & Piedmont Ave., Berkeley to West Oakland BART via Bancroft Way/Durant Ave., Shattuck Ave., Dwight Way, 7th St., Emeryville Public Market, Shellmound St., 40th St., and Adeline St.
49	Discontinued, but lines 36, 79, 80, and 81 will offer replacement service.
51B	All trips will serve Berkeley Amtrak. For service to Berkeley Marina, transfer to new Line 81 on 4th St. at University Ave. (in front of Spenger’s).
60	One trip from Hayward BART to Cal State East Bay discontinued, leaving Hayward BART at 7:48 a.m.
79	New line will serve areas covered by former lines 25 and 49. It will operate from El Cerrito Plaza BART to Rockridge BART via Fairmount Ave., Colusa Ave., Solano Ave., Martin Luther King Jr. Way, Downtown Berkeley, Bancroft Way / Durant Ave., Piedmont Ave., Warring St., Derby St., Claremont Blvd., Claremont Ave. and College Ave.
80	New line will serve areas covered by former lines 25 and 49. It will operate from El Cerrito Plaza BART to Ashby Ave. & Claremont Ave. via Central Ave, Pierce St., Pacific East Mall, University Village, 6th St., Berkeley Amtrak, 7th St., and Ashby Ave. On 7th St. and Ashby Ave., it will operate in tandem with Line 81, with Line 80 buses alternating with Line 81 buses.
81	New line will serve areas covered by Line 51B and former Line 49. It will operate from Berkeley Marina to Ashby Ave. & Claremont Ave. via University Ave., Berkeley Amtrak, 7th St., and Ashby Ave. On 7th St. and Ashby Ave., it will operate in tandem with Line 80, with Line 81 buses alternating with Line 80 buses.
94	One new trip will operate in the mornings, starting at Hayward BART at 7:06 a.m., and leaving Hayward Blvd. at Fairview Ave. at 7:33 a.m.
96	New line will serve areas covered by former lines 11 and 31. It will operate from Alameda Point to the Dimond District via Midway Ave., Lincoln Ave., Marina Village Parkway, Webster/Posey tubes, Downtown Oakland, E. 12th St., 14th Ave. and Highland Hospital.
217	Due to decreased ridership from Northwestern Polytechnic University, some recently added service to Line 217 will be discontinued. Seven fewer trips in each direction will be discontinued.
275	Line 275 will be temporarily suspended until further notice. <a href="http://www.actransit.org/flex/">AC Transit Flex </a>service is available.
611	New line will serve areas of former Line 11 at times convenient to Westlake Middle School.
618	Heading toward Montera Middle School, the first stop will be on Liemert Blvd. at Clemens Road. The stop on Park Blvd. at Liemert Blvd. will not be served.
Other	Minor schedule changes are made to lines 20, 21, 40, 57, 662, 691, 805, F, FS, G, H, L, LA, NX, and NX1.
