Service changes effective Sunday, June 17, 2018
Better. Simpler. Faster.
AC Go represents a significant service expansion and improvement for AC Transit riders in Central Alameda County. Designed and implemented with input from riders, AC Go increases the number of buses and service hours, while streamlining routes for improved reliability.
This phase of AC Go implementation is focused on the Cities of Hayward and San Leandro, and the unincorporated areas of Castro Valley, Ashland, Cherryland, and San Lorenzo. Riders in these communities will experience some bus stop optimizations and route redesigns that share corridors for improved frequency. These changes will create new bus lines and extend routes and service hours to accommodate riders who travel outside typical commute hours.

CURRENT LINES SERVICE IMPROVEMENTS

Extension to Chabot College via Winton Avenue and Southland Mall Hours extended to 11:00 pm on weekdays and weekends

Frequency increase from 60 minutes to 30 minutes

Full route from Hayward BART to South Hayward BART served both weekdays and weekends

Frequency increase from 60 minutes to 40 minutes on weekdays Route redesigned to operate from Bay Fair BART to Castro Valley BART via San Lorenzo, A Street, and Grove Way

Line 22 - Lines 60, 83, 86, 97 and 99
Line 32 - Lines 10, 34, 83, 93 or Flex service
Line 37 - Lines 41, 56, 83, 86 or 93
Line 48 - Lines 10, 28, Flex service or NX4/NXC during commute hours
Line 75 - Lines 1, 28, 34, 35, 40 or NX4/NXC during commute hours
Line 85 - Lines 10, 34, 35, 41, 42, 60, 83, 86, 93 or 97
Line 89 - Lines 28, 34, 35, 40 or 93
