Changes Impacting Your Service
The N Line arrives at a time when the COVID-19 pandemic continues to present challenges for RTD and the region. To continue to serve, and adapt, to the region-s transit needs, the N Line and the bus routes that serve it will open on a reduced schedule consistent with RTD-s COVID-19 Service Plan. This plan will remain in effect until further notice and continue to be adapted as needed. In addition, other service updates will also take effect across the RTD system. Bus service changes will take effect on Sunday, September 20, 2020.
The N Line opens on Monday, September 21, 2020.
Final Changes for Local/Limited Bus Routes
R 49 - New
This new route, which will serve the Commerce City - 72nd Station, replaces the northern portion of Route 48.
R 88L - New
This new route, which will serve the Original Thornton - 88th Station, replaces the northern portion of Route 88.
R 120L - New
This new route, which will serve the Eastlake - 124th Station, replaces current Route 120 between Eastlake - 124th Station and US 85 & Bridge Street Park-n-Ride.
R 93L - New
This new route, which will serve the Thornton Crossroads - 104th Station, replaces Route 39L as well as the portion of Route 92 east of Thornton Park-n-Ride.
R 104L - New
This new route, which will serve the Thornton Crossroads - 104th Station, replaces Route AA.
R 12 - Modified
This route is being extended to serve the N Line-s Northglenn - 112th Station.
R 48 - Modified
This route is being modified to serve the 48th & Brighton - National Western Center Station, ending at the new terminal at 60th & Dahlia.
R 72/72W - Modified
This route is being modified to serve the Commerce City - 72nd Station, and no longer terminates at US 85 and 72nd Ave Park-n-Ride.
R 520 - New
This new route replaces current Routes 120 and RX between US 85 and Bridge Street Park-n-Ride and Prairie Center Mall.
R 88 - Modified
This route is being modified to serve the Commerce City - 72nd Station.
R 92 - Modified
This route is being modified to serve the Original Thornton - 88th Station, and will no longer terminate at Summit Grove.
R 112 - Modified
This route is being modified to serve the Northglenn - 112th Station, and will no longer serve the 106th & Melody Transfer Center.
R 15/15L - Modified
- Colfax/Steele eastbound: new stop for both Routes 15 and 15L
- Colfax/Steele westbound: existing stop for Route 15, new stop for Route 15L
- Colfax/Elm-Eudora, both directions: existing stop for Route 15, new stop for Route 15L
- Colfax/Glencoe, both directions: existing stop to remain for Route 15, no longer a stop for Route 15L
- Colfax/Tamarac, both directions: existing stop for both routes, stop discontinued, replaced by Uinta
- Colfax/Uinta, both directions: new stop for both routes
- Colfax/Valentia, both directions: existing stop for Route 15, stop discontinued, replaced by Uinta
R 120 - Modified
This route is being modified to serve the Eastlake - 124th Station all day (120E), and Wagon Road Park-n-Ride (120W) during the morning and evening rush hours.
R RX - Modified
This route is being curtailed at US85 & Bridge Street Park-n-Ride and replaced by new Route 520 within City of Brighton.
R 39L - Discontinued
This route will be replaced by route 93L.
R AA - Discontinued
This route will be replaced by route 104L.
R RC - Discontinued
This route will be replaced by the route 41L.
Final Changes for Bus Routes Not in Service during COVID-19 Service Plan
R 41L - New
This new route will serve the Commerce City - 72nd Station, replacing the southern portion of Route RC.
R 114 - New
This new route will run between the US 36 - Church Ranch Station and the Wagon Road Park-n-Ride, via FRCC.
R 80/80L - Modified
This route will serve the Original Thornton - 88th Station, and will no longer terminate at Thornton Park-n-Ride.
R 104 - Modified
This route will serve the Thornton Crossroads - 104th Station, with a hub out of the US 36 - Church Ranch Station. It will no longer serve the US 36 - Sheridan Station.
R 128 - Modified
This route will serve the Eastlake - 124th Station (128N) hourly all day, and Wagon Road Park-n-Ride (128W) during the morning and evening rush hours.
Final Changes for Rail
N Line - New
This new 13-mile commuter rail line travels from downtown Denver through Commerce City, Thornton, and Northglenn. Trains will operate every 30 minutes.

Bus - Modified
