Sun Metro Announces Service Modifications Effective June 11, 2017 El Paso, Texas – Beginning June 11, 2017 Sun Metro will make minor service modifications to numerous routes to include several schedule changes. These changes are designed to improve the overall system and maximize the efficiency and effectiveness.
Impacted routes include: 3, 4, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 23, 24, 25, 31, 35, 36, 42, 43, 44, 45, 50, 52, 58, 59, 60, 61, 62, 66, 73, 75, 80 and 84.
Modifications will mostly include minor schedule adjustments to the routes first and last trip, to include general schedule adjustments on some routes. Sun Metro passengers should also be aware the additional adjustments to routes 17, 23, 24, 58 and 84.
Route 17 will be modified in order to provide service to the new UMC West Hospital. It will also have a minor schedule change on Sunday.
Route 23 will be deactivated. Various sections that were serviced by route 23 are now accessible using routes 9, 24, 61, 62, 65 & 66.
Route 24 will experience a minor route change on the outbound trip. The route will change around the Bowie High School area.
Route 58 will experience a route change that will go onto through Yarbrough and along Edgemere on the inbound trip.

ROUTE 4 UNION PLAZA CIRCULATOR will experience a minor schedule change on Sunday.
ROUTE 11 MESITA VIA KERN will have a minor schedule change for Saturday and Sunday.
ROUTE 12 DONIPHAN CIRCULATOR will experience a minor schedule change on Sunday.
ROUTE 13 CORONADO HILLS CIRCULATOR will experience a minor schedule change Saturday and Sunday.
ROUTE 14 WESTWIND will experience a minor schedule change on Saturday.
ROUTE 15 MESA will experience a minor schedule change on Saturday.
ROUTE 16 UPPER VALLEY CIRCULATOR will experience a minor schedule change on Saturday.
ROUTE 17 THREE HILLS NORTHWEST EPCC will have a minor route change to service UMC West Hospital. It will also have a minor schedule change on Sunday only.
ROUTE 18 WESTSIDE EXPRESS will experience a minor schedule change Saturday and Sunday.
ROUTE 19 RESLER CIRCULATOR will experience a minor schedule change on Sunday.
ROUTE 23 PAISANO VIA FOX PLAZA has been discontinued. Various sections that were serviced by route 23 are now accessible using routes 9, 24, 61, 62, 65 & 66.
ROUTE 24 DELTA VIA SECOND WARD will experience a minor route change around the Bowie High School area. No schedule change.
ROUTE 25 UNIVERSITY MEDICAL CENTER will experience a minor route change on the outbound trip only around Piedras and Magoffin. No schedule change.
ROUTE 31 FT. BLISS / EASTSIDE CONNECTOR will experience a route and schedule change Monday through Saturday.
ROUTE 35 NORTHGATE VIA DYER will experience a schedule change Monday through Sunday.
ROUTE 36 BEAUMONT VIA HIGHLAND will experience a schedule change Saturday and Sunday.
ROUTE 42 NORTHEAST CONNECTOR will experience a schedule change Monday through Sunday.
ROUTE 43 MONTALVO PARK VIA DYER will have a minor route change around Parkland Elementary School. It will also have a minor schedule change on Sunday only.
ROUTE 44 SEAN HAGGERTY VIA MCCOMBS will experience a minor schedule change to accommodate service to the Copper Ranch area.
ROUTE 45 TRANSMOUNTAIN EPCC CIRCULATOR will experience a minor schedule change on Sunday.
ROUTE 50 MONTANA will experience a schedule change Monday through Sunday.
ROUTE 52 PEBBLE HILLS will experience a minor schedule change around Pebble Hills High School.
ROUTE 58 Montana/Turner will experience a route change which will go onto Yarbrough and along Edgemere on the inbound trip only, and experience a minor schedule change on Monday – Sunday.
ROUTE 59 Eastside Connector will experience a minor schedule change on Sunday.
ROUTE 60 Zaragoza Bridge Circulator will experience a minor schedule change on Sunday.
ROUTE 61 Ysleta via Alameda will experience a minor schedule change on Sunday.
ROUTE 62 Pasodale via Lakeside will experience a minor schedule change on Sunday.
ROUTE 66 North Loop will experience a minor schedule change Monday through Friday.
ROUTE 73 Pellicano will have a minor route change to service the new UMC East Hospital. No schedule change.
ROUTE 75 Glory Road/R C Poe Express will experience a minor schedule change Monday through Friday.
ROUTE 80 Northeast/Mission Valley Express will experience a minor schedule change Monday through Friday.
ROUTE 84 EPCC Mission del Paso via Clint will have a minor route change to utilize new interchange ramp. No impact to schedule or bus stops.
