San Joaquins - Amtrak information and ticket information web page.


The San Joaquins is a regional Amtrak train service between Bay Area, Sacramento and Bakersfield through the Central Valley. Trains run about every 2-3 hours daily. Thruway buses provide additional connections to the Yosemite Valley, San Jose, and Los Angeles.

Only coach seats are available. Each car on the train can carry 3 bicycles. Cafe car and free wifi service are available.
