TRAX - Light Rail

UTA TRAX Red, Blue, and Green line trains serve Downtown Salt Lake City with the following stations in the area:


These stations are within the Free Fare Zone in downtown. Fare is not required when traveling between stations within that zone. Fare is required when traveling from and to areas outside the downtown zone.

FrontRunner - Commuter Rail

FrontRunner is a regional train line between Ogden and Provo. There are two FrontRunner stations in the downtown area:

TRAX and buses provide connections between FrontRunner and other downtown locations.

Amtrak, Greyhound

Salt Lake Central Station is the main station for both services.

Bus - UTA

Buses are free when traveling within the Free Fare Zone in downtown. When boarding a bus that is heading away from downtown, tell the driver that you intend to get off in the free fare zone. Additional buses also serve Salt Lake Central Station but do not serve other downtown stops.
