New Orleans has one of the oldest continuous operating streetcar lines in the United States. The historic St. Charles line, along with other lines, are a key part of the RTA network. The streetcar system uses actual and replica historic cars throughout.

How to take streetcar

Riders can board streetcar at designated stops generally located by the intersection.

Board the streetcar through the front door and pay or show pass when boarding.

Disabled access

St. Charles line cars are not wheelchair accessible. Cars on other lines are accessible via onboard lifts.
