HP Pavilion is the home of the San Jose Sharks and San Jose SaberCats. It is served by a number of VTA routes along with Caltrain, ACE and Amtrak.

VTA Light Rail

The nearest station is San Fernando Station, which is located a block south of the HP Pavilion on San Fernando Street at Delmas Street. It is served by the G Green Line line.

Special service is provided on the G Green Line line only after Sharks games.

Riders on the B Blue Line line can transfer to G trains at Convention Center Station, or simply get off at Santa Clara Station in downtown San Jose and walk west for 1/2 mile on Santa Clara Street to HP Pavilion.

Bus

VTA lines 22 and 522 stop on Santa Clara Street by HP Pavilion. All other buses stop at the nearby San Jose Diridon Station.

Caltrain

HP Pavilion is located one block north of San Jose Diridon Station. There's no special service to the games, but Caltrain may delay train #197 and #451 up to 15 minutes after Sharks games.

Amtrak/Altamont Commuter Express

Amtrak and Altamont Commuter Express serve San Jose Diridon Station. Neither provide special service to HP Pavilion events.

From BART

BART riders can connect with VTA or Caltrain to HP Pavilion:

  1. Millbrae Station > Caltrain
  2. Fremont Station > VTA 180/181
