This station is served by Caltrain local/limited stop and Baby Bullet trains.

Caltrain ticket machines and Clipper card readers are located on the train platforms. All riders must have a valid ticket or tagged Clipper Card before boarding Caltrain and train crews may inspect for fares onboard. Riders using Clipper should "tag off" after exiting the train.

This station features side platforms. Use the pedestrian tunnel or walk across the tracks at the south end of the station to get from one platform to another.

Parking

Parking for train riders is available at the Transit Center by the southbound platform (Purple area), and at a lot by 2nd Street and South Railroad Ave.

Caltrain monthly parking permit is accepted at both lots.

To pay for parking at the transit center, remember the stall number and go to a gray pay station located in the parking area. The pay station accepts coins and $1 bills.

For the 2nd Street lot, pay the daily parking fee by remembering the stall number and pay at the Caltrain ticket machines located on the station platforms.

Bicycle

Bike racks and lockers are available at this station. Call City of San Mateo at 650-522-7336 to sign up for lockers. Bay Bikes bike sharing hub is also available at the station.
