VTA 10-30-2023

No tricks! Just the October Service Changes going into effect on Monday, October 30, 2023. Be sure to check the updated schedules before you leave your house so you’re not spooked!

Bus Route 26: We are improving the weekday evening frequency and adding a later trip in each direction to extend service to midnight. Saturday frequency will be improved to every 20 minutes from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and service will be extended to midnight. Sunday frequency will also be improved to every 20 minutes from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and service will be extended to 11 p.m.

Bus Route 60: Weekday service will be extended to operate from 5:30 a.m. to midnight over the entire route and additional trips will be added between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. Look forward to improved weekend frequency to every 20 minutes and extended service up to midnight.

Bus Route 72: Weekday and Saturday evening frequency will be improved with service extended to midnight. Saturday frequency will be improved to every 20 minutes from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday service hours will be extended to operate from 6:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Bus Route 73: VTA will be moving the northbound Keyes & Senter timepoint to Senter and Kelly Park due to long term construction. The weekday evening frequency will be improved and a later trip will be added in each direction, extending service to 11:30 p.m. Saturday frequency will be improved to every 20 minutes from 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and service will be extended to 11:30 p.m. Sunday service will be extended to operate from 6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Bus Route Rapid 500: Weekday service will operate at a 10 minute frequency during the day, every 20 minutes in the early morning and evening, and every 40 minutes after midnight. Weekend service will operate every 20 minutes during the day and every 40 minutes after midnight.

Bus Route Rapid 522: Weekday service will be extended to operate from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. and an additional eastbound trip will extend the 15 minute service to 7:30 p.m. Weekend frequency will be improved to every 15 minutes from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Saturday service will be extended to operate until 11 p.m. and Sunday service will be extended to operate until 10:30 p.m.

Other Schedule Changes: Bus Routes 20, 22, 23, 25, 37, 42, 52, 64A, 64B, 83, 85, 89, and the SCVMC Shuttle.

The next service change is scheduled for January 15, 2024.
