4th & King Station

4th & King Station is the terminal for Caltrain in San Francisco. Caltrain passengers can transfer to Muni to downtown and other parts of San Francisco.
The Caltrain station itself features Subway Sandwich, a cafe, a flower stand, and a shoe-shining service. Safeway and Walgreens are located across the street from the station.

Caltrain
Local, limited stop, Baby Bullet
Caltrain ticket machines and 8-ride ticket validators are located on the station concourse. This station also has a ticket counter on weekday mornings. Purchase or validate ticket before boarding.
This station has 11 tracks. See signs on top of the doors to the platform for the departure time.
After Giants games and other special events, conductors will check all passengers for valid ticket at the doors to the platform.
Muni Metro
N Judah T Third Street trains both serve two different platforms. N serves Caltrain only on weekdays.
Ticket machines (change given) are available on the King Street sidewalk by Caltrain and at entrances to the N Judah platform on King St. You can also pay fare onboard the T Third Street car when boarding. Proof of payment is required to ride the Muni Metro.

Just outside the Caltrain station building by King Street, an overhead electronic sign shows the real-time departure information for both lines.

Muni bus stops are located at various locations on 4th Street and Townsend Street.
Amtrak Thruway
For Amtrak train passengers Only. Buses connect to Emeryville Station. Buses stop on Townsend Street by the bike station.

California Shuttle Bus to Los Angeles area. Buses generally stop on 4th Street in front of the Caltrain depot.
