This station is served by all Caltrain local/limited stop and Baby Bullet trains.
Ticket machines are located by tunnel entrances to the platforms. Clipper Card readers are located in the outer lobby and inside the tunnel (none on the platform). Riders can purchase new Clipper cards and add values/passes to the card from selected Caltrain ticket machines (as well as all VTA Light Rail ticket machines) at this station. All riders must have a valid paper/mobile ticket, or tagged Clipper card/mobile device before boarding Caltrain. Train crews may inspect for fares onboard. Riders using Clipper should "tag off" after exiting the train.
Ticket counter in the main building does not sell Caltrain tickets.
This station features multiple center platforms. Use the tunnel to access the platforms. There are signs inside the tunnel showing the track for departing trains. Check the display or with conductors for train departures.
- Northbound trains to San Francisco depart on track 2, 3, 4, or 5.
- Most trains toward Tamien or Gilroy arrive on track 6.
