Redwood Transit System provides regional transit service in Humboldt County, connecting Arcata, Eureka, and other cities in the county. It is a service managed by Humboldt Transit Authority. It connects with local systems such as Eureka Transit Service and Arcata & Mad River Transit System. Regional connections include Redwood Coast Transit (to Crescent City/Del Norte County), Trinity Transit (Trinity County and Redding), Amtrak Thruway and Greyhound (both to the Bay Area).
