54th/Cermak Station
54th/Cermak Station is a ground-level station situated between 54th Ave and Laramie Ave, north of Cermak Road. It serves as the western terminus of the
Pink Line. Originally, the station was part of the Douglas branch, which extended further west into Oak Park. It became a terminus in 1952 when service further west was discontinued. The station was rebuilt in the early 2000s, and in 2006, the Pink Line was established, using this station as its terminus.

CTA ticket machines are available at the main station head house at 53rd Ave and Cermak, selling reloadable Ventra card, single-ride, or 1 day ticket. All riders must pass through the turnstile with a valid Ventra card, ticket, contactless bank card, or mobile device with Apple/Samsung/Android Pay.
