It’s time for A Better Cherriots. As the project name suggests, Cherriots is working to provide better bus service in Salem-Keizer and the surrounding region. We have some VERY exciting changes coming this September: the largest service enhancement in Cherriots history! Read about the details of our plan for later weekday service and Saturday service below.
Cherriots Local enhancements
Most Cherriots Local routes will start operating later on weekdays starting September 3. The last trips of the evening will leave the transit centers at 11 p.m. Almost all of the Cherriots Local routes will also operate on Saturdays starting September 7, generally at reduced levels of service from weekday service.
Cherriots Regional enhancements
Most Cherriots Regional routes will start operating later on weekdays starting September 3. Most of the Cherriots Regional routes will also operate on Saturdays at reduced levels of service from weekday service starting September 7.
