Fall 2018 Service

This fall, Community Transit is adding more trips on popular routes and changing some routes to serve more customers. The service changes highlighted below take effect starting on September 23, 2018.

Service Changes

  • The Swift Blue Line will operate every 10 minutes between 6 a.m. - 7 p.m. weekdays. That's an extra trip an hour in each direction on our most popular route. An early morning trip will be added to start the weekday Swift commute at 4:20 a.m. in each direction.
  • Route 413 will have additional, new midday and evening trips to and from downtown Seattle. This provides more options for workers and shoppers who dont travel during regular commute hours.
  • Route 109: Changes in Lake Stevens
  • Route 196: Changes to route in Lynnwood
  • Route 120: Additional trips between Canyon Park & Edmonds Community College.

Fare Changes

  • Community Transit will raise local bus and DART paratransit fares by 25 cents, simplify commuter fares, and increase vanpool fares by about three percent.
  • These fare changes take effect on October 1. Please see the fare table below for details.
  • If you purchase a monthly pass, be sure to adjust your fare purchase in mid-September.
