Foothill Transit 6-24-2018

Summer, summer, summertime. Time to sit back and unwind…with the next edition of our Bus Book! Sorry, we couldn’t help ourselves. We have been hard at work collecting your feedback, observing our service, and making schedule adjustments and updates to improve your commute this summer. Here’s a glimpse at what will be new:

Downtown Los Angeles service – We are extending the Silver Streak route to the Pico and Flower Station in downtown Los Angeles to improve connections with Metro Rail. We are also adding an additional Line 495 trip in the afternoon, which leaves downtown Los Angeles at 2:33 p.m.

Route adjustments – We are adjusting the route for Line 292, which now includes a bus stop in front of Pomona High School. Line 281 will return to its regular route along Citrus St between the I-10 Freeway and Cameron Ave. Commuter Express Lines 493, 495, 497, 498, 499, and 699 will return to their regular routes along Hope St and Flower St between 1st St and 6th St. Line 274’s three-year construction detour has ended and Line 274 has gone back to its original route along Puente Ave between Don Julian Rd and Temple Ave.

Transferring to other agencies – Beginning soon, transferring to Metro or another LA County transit service will require a TAP card. Check out our transfers page for more details.
