Golden Gate Transit Regional Bus Service Adjustments

Effective Sunday, June 10 & Monday, June 11, 2018 (español)

Golden Gate Transit adjusts regional bus schedules quarterly to improve system efficiency. Click here for new timetables

Routes 4, 30, 54, 58, and 74

Some schedules will be ADJUSTED up to 6 minutes to improve connections and running times.

Route 18

The northbound 6:59 p.m. trip will be CANCELLED due to low ridership. For service to Hwy 101 bus pads, use Route 24 trip at 7:00 p.m. Click here for Route 24 timetables

Route 24

The first southbound trip will NO LONGER serve the Larkspur Ferry Terminal. Transit alternative: Use the Drakes Landing or Bon Air Center Park & Ride lot (visit our Park & Ride page for more info) and ride Route 24 from Sir Francis Drake Blvd. For customers returning to Marin on the 3:00 p.m. Larkspur Ferry trip from SF, a new Ferry Shuttle Route 25 trip will be ADDED, departing the terminal at 3:35 p.m. and serving all westbound stops on Sir Francis Drake Blvd so riders can return to their vehicles. Route 24X

A southbound trip will be ADDED, originating at the San Anselmo Hub at 5:05 a.m. and serving the Larkspur Ferry Terminal at 5:20 a.m.

Route 25

A westbound 3:35 p.m. trip will be ADDED to meet the 3:30 p.m. Larkspur Ferry arrival.

Route 27

Most trips extended to the San Anselmo Hub.

One new morning southbound trip will be ADDED, departing the Hub at 7:02 a.m.

Route 31

The southbound weekday trips at 5:30 a.m., 6:05 a.m., and 6:35 a.m., and northbound weekday trips at 7:05 p.m. and 7:55 p.m. will be CANCELLED due to low ridership.

Several southbound and northbound weekday trips will be EXTENDED to/from Point San Pedro Rd/Peacock Gap in east San Rafael, serving new westbound/pick up stops at Point San Pedro Rd & Knight Dr and Point San Pedro Rd & Lochinvar Rd, eastbound/drop off stops at Point San Pedro Rd & Loch Lomond Dr and Point San Pedro Rd & Main Dr, and a pick up/drop off terminus stop at Lagoon Rd & Peacock Dr.

Route 41

NEW Larkspur Ferry Shuttle to/from Smith Ranch Road Park & Ride in northern San Rafael will serve weekday morning and afternoon ferry commute trips. The shuttle will operate express service between the Park & Ride lot and the Ferry Terminal.

Route 44

Route 44 will NO LONGER serve the San Rafael Transit Center. For alternate service between San Francisco and the Transit Center, use Route 27. Click here for Route 27 timetables Click here for new Route 44 timetables

Route 72

Most trips will be REPLACED with Route 72X trips. See Route 74 for additional service to/from Santa Rosa/Rohnert Park.

Route 72 will NO LONGER serve Santa Rosa bus stops on Cleveland Avenue, Steele Lane, Mendocino Avenue, B Street, Healdsburg Avenue, and Santa Rosa Avenue at Sebastopol and South A Street (southbound) and Maple Avenue and Mill Street (northbound). Transit alternatives: Ride Routes 72 or 74 to/from the Santa Rosa Transit Mall or Routes 72, 72X, or 74 to/from the GGT Santa Rosa bus lot at Piner & Industrial.

Route 72X

Route 72X will now serve the Santa Rosa/Veterans Park & Ride lot.

Route 74

The last southbound and last two northbound trips will be REPLACED with Route 72 trips, with service to/from the Santa Rosa Transit Mall and Roberts Lake Park & Ride lot. Route 74 will NO LONGER serve the Rohnert Park Expressway Park & Ride or Santa Rosa/Veterans Park & Ride stops. Transit alternative: Ride Routes 72 or 72X to/from either of these stops.

Route 97

The southbound trip at 5:20 a.m. will be REPLACED with a new Route 24X trip, originating at the San Anselmo Hub at 5:05 a.m.

Route 101

The southbound weekday trip departing Petaluma at 7:44 a.m. and northbound weekday trip departing Main & Folsom at 6:38 p.m. will be CANCELLED.

Golden Gate Transit and Golden Gate Ferry regional fares will increase on Sunday, July 1, 2018. Marin local bus fares will remain the same.

Golden Gate Ferry

Beginning Monday, June 18, several Sausalito Ferry weekday departures and several Tiburon Ferry weekday morning departures will be ADJUSTED to operate 5 minutes EARLIER. The Larkspur Ferry and Sausalito Ferry weekend timetables will remain unchanged.
