More hours to serve you better

In response to the passage of Intercity Transit Proposition 1, we will expand weekend service hours on March 24, 2019 to provide our riders greater access to transportation and more flexibility in their schedules. On many routes, Sunday schedules will be the same as Saturday schedules. On others, Saturday and Sunday schedules will be very similar. Sunday service will be added to Routes 45, 48, and 67, which don't currently operate on Sundays. As a result, Route 49 will be discontinued.

In addition, Routes 21, 42, 45, 47, 48, 60, 64, and 66 will begin earlier on weekdays to improve transfer connections at the Olympia and Lacey Transit Centers. Routes 62A and 62B will have added trips seven days a week to improve the frequency and service during late evenings.

Changes by Route

Route 12

Summary of changes:

• Sunday service will increase to Saturday-level service, increasing frequency to every 30 minutes

Route 13

Summary of Changes:

• Adds three additional round trips to weekday evening service.
• Increases Sunday service to Saturday level (30-min frequency).

Route 21

Summary of changes:

• Adds one earlier weekday morning round trip to the schedule

Route 41

Summary of changes:

• Adds one additional inbound trip to Saturday morning service.
• Adds one additional outbound trip and inbound trip to Sunday morning service.
• Adds four additional trips to Sunday night service.

Route 42

Summary of changes:

• Adds one earlier outbound trip starting at Quixote Village weekday mornings.
• Adds one earlier inbound trip weekday mornings.

Route 45

Summary of Changes:

• Changes the inbound route to include Kenyon St., Harrison Ave., and Safeway Plaza on Cooper Point Rd.
• Adds one earlier outbound trip weekday mornings.
• Adds one earlier inbound trip weekday mornings.
• Adds Sunday service at Saturday level (60-min frequency).

Route 47

Summary of Changes:

• Adds two earlier outbound trips weekday mornings.
• Adds one earlier inbound trip weekday mornings.

Route 48

Summary of Changes:

• Adds one earlier outbound trip weekday mornings
• Adds one earlier inbound trip weekday mornings.
• Adds Sunday service at Saturday level (30-min frequency); replaces Route 49.

Route 49

Summary of Changes:

• Route 49 will be replaced by Sunday service provided by Route 48.

Route 60

Summary of Changes:

• Adds two earlier outbound trips starting at Lacey Transit Center weekday mornings.
• Adds one earlier inbound trip beginning at Lacey Transit Center weekday mornings.
• Adds one earlier inbound trip starting at Lacey Transit Center to Sunday service.

Route 62A

Summary of Changes:

• Adds two inbound trips from Martin Way at Marvin Road on weekday mornings.
• Adds three trips on weekday nights.
• Adds six additional trips on Saturdays.
• Increases Sunday service to Saturday level (30-min frequency).
• Adjusts selected timepoints to provide uniformity in weekday, Saturday, and Sunday schedules.

Route 62B

Summary of Changes:

• Adds one earlier inbound trip (from Marvin Road to Martin Way) on weekday mornings.
• Adds one additional inbound trip (from Marvin Road to Martin Way) on weekday nights.
• Adds one additional inbound trip (8:34 a.m. starting at Marvin at Martin) and two additional roundtrips to Saturday morning service.
• Increase Sunday Service to Saturday level (30-min frequency).
• Adjusts selected timepoints to provide more uniformity in weekday, Saturday, and Sunday schedules.

Route 64

Summary of Changes:

• Adds one earlier outbound trip starting at the Olympia Transit Center weekday mornings.
• Increases Sunday service to Saturday level (60-min frequency).

Route 66

Summary of Changes:

• Adds two earlier outbound trips starting at Pacific Ave. and Pattison St. on weekday mornings.
• Adjusts timepoints on late night trips.
• Increases Sunday service to Saturday level (30-min frequency).

Route 67

Summary of Changes:

• Introduces Sunday service at Saturday level (60-min frequency).

Route 68

• Adjusts weekday schedule at Pacific at Bowker outbound.

Route 94

Summary of Changes:

• Increases Sunday service to Saturday level, which adds five inbound and five round trips.

Route 612

Summary of Changes:

• Adjusts times at 512 P&R, Lakewood Station, and Martin Way P&R to reduce waiting times.
• Adjusts select afternoon trips to better facilitate connections from Sounder at Lakewood Station.
