Major Changes

Expand Late Night Service For Multiple Routes

Merge Routes: 21/23

Routes 21 and 23 will be combined to operate as a single route (Route 21). This change will provide 30-minute weekday frequency, offer access to more destinations such as Paramount High School and Walmart, and improve transfer opportunities through an extension to the northern part of the route that allows Route 21 and Route 71 to end at the same location at Rosecrans Ave. and Lakewood Blvd. As part of this adjustment, service along Garfield Ave. between Alondra Blvd. and Rosecrans Ave. will be eliminated.

Merge Routes: 51/52

Route 51 frequency will be improved from every 30 minutes to every 15 minutes by streamlining Routes 51 and 52 into a single, direct route (Route 51). This change will provide increased frequency to Compton College. As part of this adjustment, service along Victoria St. and Santa Fe Ave. will be eliminated.

Merge Routes: 102/104

Route 104 weekday frequency will be improved from every 60 minutes to every 30 minutes by combining Routes 102 and 104 into a single, direct route (Route 104). This change will provide more consistent 30-minute service to Long Beach Airport and along Spring Street. Route 102 will no longer serve the two stops on Wardlow Road and Douglas Newcomb Academy. Route 173 will provide service on Studebaker Road.
