Please note changes listed below to MTS services, effective Sunday, November 21, 2021. New timetables for the affected routes will be BLUE, matching the color of this notice.

| UC San Diego Blue Line | The UC San Diego Blue Line will be extended from America Plaza to UTC, via the Green Line corridor to Old Town, then serving new Trolley Stations at Tecolote Rd., Clairemont Dr., Balboa Ave., Nobel Dr., V.A. Medical Center, UC San Diego campus (2 stations), Executive Dr., and UTC. Service frequency north of America Plaza will be every 15 minutes, seven days/week, with a span of service similar to current. Frequency south of America Plaza will remain at every 7.5 minutes on weekdays. Note that there are no changes to Orange or Green Line schedules. | |

| 8 | Route 8 will be extended from Pacific Beach east to the new Balboa Avenue Transit Center, via Grand Avenue. Frequency will be increased to every 15 minutes on weekdays and 20 minutes on weekends. Also, note schedule adjustments. | |
| 9 | Route 9 will be shortened in Pacific Beach on weekdays and Saturdays to end at Ingraham St. and Garnet Avenue. Service along Garnet Ave. between Ingraham St. and Mission Blvd. will remain available on weekdays on Route 27. Route 9 service frequency will be every 20 minutes on weekdays and 30 minutes on Saturdays. Sunday service will remain the same as current. Also, note schedule adjustments. | |

| 27 | Route 27 will be increased to operate every 30 minutes seven days/week (with new Sunday service). It will serve the Mid-Coast Trolley extension at the Balboa Avenue Transit Center. Also, Route 27 will be changed to operate between Balboa Ave. and Clairemont Mesa Blvd. on Kearny Villa Rd. instead of Convoy Street. Also, note other schedule adjustments. | |

| 30 | Route 30 will be shortened to operate north of Old Town Transit Center only. (Service between Old Town and Downtown will be offered by both the Blue and Green Lines, with 8 trips per hour in each direction.) Route 30 will also be adjusted in University City to operate between UC San Diego and UTC along Nobel Dr. instead of La Jolla Village Drive. Route 30 will continue to operate every 15 minutes on weekdays; weekend frequency will be every 30 minutes on the entire route. Also, note other schedule adjustments. | |

| 43 | New Route 43* will provide service between the Kearny Mesa Transit Center and Balboa Avenue Transit Center, via Clairemont Mesa Blvd., Clairemont Dr., and Balboa Avenue. It will replace Route 44 along Clairemont Mesa Blvd. between Convoy St. and Clairemont Drive. Route 43 will operate eastbound on Clairemont Dr. behind Clairemont Square, and westbound along Clairemont Mesa Blvd. from Kleefeld Ave. to Clairemont Drive. Service will operate every 15 minutes on weekdays and 30 minutes on weekends. | |
| 44 | Route 44 will be shifted on the north end to terminate at the Kearny Mesa Transit Center instead of Clairemont Square. The route will serve Clairemont Mesa Blvd. east of Convoy St. instead of west of Convoy Street. Service on Clairemont Mesa Blvd. west of Convoy St. will be replaced by new Route 43. Also, note other schedule adjustments. | |
| 50 | Route 50 will be discontinued. Service will continue to be available on all Route 50 street segments via Route 41 (Genesee Ave.), Route 105 (Clairemont Dr.), and a re-routed Route 105 (Regents Rd./Governor Dr.). Service between Downtown and Clairemont will be available via the UC San Diego Blue Line and a transfer to Route 105 at Clairemont Drive Station or new Route 43 at the Balboa Avenue Transit Center. | Discontinued |

| 140 | New Express Route 140* will operate between the Balboa Avenue Transit Center and downtown La Jolla, via Interstate 5 and La Jolla Parkway. Service will operate every 30 minutes, seven days/week, with extra 15-minute frequency during weekday peaks. | |

| 201/202 | The SuperLoop (Rapid 201/202) routing will be changed on the north side to operate between UC San Diego and UTC along La Jolla Village Drive instead of Voigt Dr., Regents Rd., and Executive Drive. Transit service to northern University City will be replaced by the UC San Diego Blue Line, at the UC San Diego Health La Jolla and Executive Drive stations. Also, note schedule adjustments. | |
