Metro Transit (Minnesota) 6-11-2022

On June 11, Metro Transit made changes to transit service within your community. As we do each quarter, we review and analyze our resources and ridership trends.

These service adjustments to routes continue our ongoing work to best serve customers throughout our system with our given resources.Heading back to work?

As the pandemic continues, remember:

� Face coverings are now optional on Metro Transit. However, the CDC continues to recommend that masks be worn in indoor public transportation settings. More at metrotransit.org/health. � Transit Information is available by phone (612-373-3333) and text (612-444-1161) Monday-Friday 6:30 a.m. � 8 p.m. and Saturdays 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. and at Service Centers in downtown St. Paul and Minneapolis � hours and locations here. METRO lines

METRO Blue Line

  • 28th Ave. Station will be renamed 30th Ave. Station.

METRO C Line

  • On southbound trips, 8th St. & Park Ave. station replaces 8th St. & Chicago as final stop.

ROUTE 11

  • Schedule will be adjusted to better reflect actual travel time.

ROUTE 23

  • Saturday schedule will be adjusted to provide consistent 30-minute frequency.

ROUTE 46

  • Route will replace Route 87 on Weekdays from Cleveland Ave. and Ford Pkwy. to St. Paul Ave. and Edgecumbe via St. Paul Ave. to W 7th and Madison St.
  • See Route 87 for Cleveland Ave. service.

ROUTE 54

  • 28th Ave. Station will be renamed 30th Ave. Station.

ROUTE 63

  • Saturday eastbound schedule will be adjusted slightly to improve reliability.

ROUTE 74

  • Fewer weekday trips will deviate via Jefferson & Edgecumbe, to better match ridership. Route 83 provides alternate Jefferson & Edgecumbe service all days of the week.
  • Some weekday trip times and route branches will change in early evening.
  • Schedule adjusted to better reflect actual travel times.

ROUTE 87

  • New routing via Cleveland, Sheridan & Edgecumbe to St. Paul Ave., replaces segment of Route 46, allowing for consistent service 7 days a week. See Route 46 for St. Paul Ave. service.
  • This change will offer improved weekend service between Ford Pkwy and W. 7th St. via Cleveland Ave.

ROUTE 542

  • Final eastbound trip currently leaving 78th & Washington at 6 p.m. will leave at 5:54 p.m. to allow for better connections to other routes.

ROUTE 546

  • Schedule will be adjusted to better reflect actual travel times, improving reliability.

ROUTE 547

  • Morning eastbound schedule adjusted.
  • One morning and one afternoon trip will be added to connect Masonic Home day shift workers with the METRO Orange Line.

Maple Grove

ROUTE 781

  • Northbound trips leaving 2nd Ave./10th St at 5:06, 5:50 and 6:33 a.m. will be eliminated.
  • Southbound trips leaving Maple Grove Transit Center at 2:30, 4 and 5 p.m. will be eliminated.
  • Northbound trips leaving 2nd Ave./10th St. at 12:16 and 6:36 p.m. extended to Parkway Station.

ROUTE 785

  • Service restored with six trips in each direction.
