Bus Service Change Improvements Effective October 13, 2019
The Bus Service Change Improvements provides a summary of the upcoming service improvements to OC Bus.
Schedule Adjustments: 1, 26, 29, 33, 35, 37, 38, 43, 47, 54, 55, 57, 59, 60, 64, 70, 71, 76, 79, 83, 87, 89, 90, 178, 206, 213, 400, 401, 402, 403, 404, 405, 453, 463, 472, 473, 480, 529, 543

New Routes: 862
Discontinued Routes: 211, 462
Bus Service Change Improvements
Route 26:
All Days: Extend route to Yorba Linda and Imperial Hwy.
Weekdays: Add EB 6:25 am, 7:02 am and 7:04 am trips to improve Metrolink connections at the Fullerton Transportation Center.
Route 43:
Weekdays: SB 6:17 am trip will be adjusted to 6:22 am to improve Metrolink connection at the Fullerton Transportation Center.
Route 55:
All Days: Implement routing change at Flower and Sixth in Santa Ana to accommodate OC Streetcar construction.
Route 57:
Weekdays: NB 9:30 pm and 10:40 pm trips will be adjusted to 9:35 pm and 10:45 pm to align with Fullerton College dismissal times.
Route 59:
Weekdays: Extend all short trips to The District at Tustin Legacy during the midday.
Route 79:
Weekdays: Add SB 8:40 am school tripper from Culver/Michelson to UCI.
Route 83:
All Days: Implement routing change to accommodate OC Streetcar construction. Route 83 will no longer serve the downtown Santa Ana Civic Center area. Passengers will need to transfer to new Route 862 at the Santa Ana Regional Transportation Center to continue to the civic center area.
Weekdays: Improve frequency to 15/30 minutes during peak hours and to 30 minutes during midday hours.
Weekends: Improve frequency to 30 minutes.
Route 89:
Weekdays: Reduce frequency to 45 minutes.
Route 206:
Weekdays: Adjust start times am and pm for all trips. Delete SB 6:41 am and NB 4:21 pm trips due to low ridership.
Route 211:
Weekdays: Discontinue route due to low ridership.
Route 213:
Weekdays: Modify route to eliminate routing on Chapman, Kraemer and Glassell at north end of route and Barranca, Redhill, McGaw and Jamboree at south end of route. Eliminate one NB and one SB trip due to low ridership.
Route 462:
Weekdays: Discontinue route to accommodate OC Streetcar construction. Replace with new Route 862.
Route 453, 463, 472, 473, 480:
Weekdays: Adjust times to improve Metrolink connections.
Route 543:
Weekdays: SB 6:18 am trip will be adjusted to 6:23 am to improve Metrolink connection at the Fullerton Transportation Center.
NEW Route 862:
All Days: Implement new route replacing Route 462 in the Downtown Santa Ana area with 10/20 minute frequency on weekdays and 20 minute frequency on weekends.

Weekdays: Adjust times to improve Metrolink connections.
