OCTA 8-13-2023

Effective August 13, 2023 The Bus Service Change Improvements provides a summary of the upcoming service improvements to OC Bus.

This service change will provide minor route and schedule changes that include adding new trips or adjusting trips to make better connections, as well as the discontinuation of iShuttle Route 402C.

Routes Details

Route 26:

Weekdays: Add a new Eastbound 8:02 am trip to better serve California State University, Fullerton.

Route 29:

Weekdays: Southbound 5:12 am trip becomes an alternate trip.

Route 30:

Weekdays: Adjust starting and ending times. Eastbound buses run from 6:41 am to 7:49 pm and Westbound from 6:19 am to 7:17 pm.

Route 33:

Weekdays: Adjust starting and ending times. Northbound buses run from 8:30 am to 6:31 pm and Southbound from 7:17 am to 5:16 pm.

Route 35:

Weekdays: Adjust starting and ending times. Northbound buses run from 4:36 am to 8:25 pm and Southbound from 5:22 am to 8:37 pm.

Route 37:

Weekdays: Adjust starting and ending times. Northbound buses run from 4:52 am to 9:17 pm and Southbound from 4:23 am to 9:21 pm.

Route 54:

Weekdays: Adjust Westbound 6:09 am trip to 6:14 am; Westbound 7:22 am trip to 7:27 am and Westbound trip 8:49 am to 8:50 am.

Route 72:

All Days: Warner Avenue Bridge completed (I-405 Freeway Project), detour removed.

Route 79:

All Days: Minor route extension at the south end of the route in Newport Beach. Weekdays: Adjust starting and ending times. Northbound buses run from 5:41 am to 9:49 pm and Southbound from 5:27 am to 9:11 pm. Weekends: Adjust starting and ending times. Northbound buses run from 6:36 am to 7:35 pm and Southbound from 6:12 am to 8:12 pm.

Route 83:

Weekdays: Adjust starting and ending times. Northbound buses run from 4:54 am to 10:53 pm and Southbound from 4:29 am to 10:12 pm.

Route 90:

Saturday: Adjust starting and ending times. Northbound buses run from 5:04 am to 7:47 pm and Southbound from 5:01 am to 9:09 pm. Sunday: Adjust starting and ending times. Northbound buses run from 5:04 am to 7:42 pm and Southbound from 5:05 am to 7:46 pm.

Route 150:

Weekdays: Adjust starting and ending times. Clockwise buses run from 5:22 am to 5:10 pm and Counterclockwise from 4:54 am to 5:33 pm.

Route 473:

Weekdays: Adjust Southbound 8:57 am trip to 8:58 am to improve connection with Metrolink train #600 arriving at Tustin Station at 8:58 am.

Route 529:

Weekdays: Adjust starting and ending times. Northbound buses run from 6:11 am to 6:13 pm and Southbound from 6:04 am to 6:12 pm.

Route 553:

All Days: Minor route extension at the south end of the route near South Coast Plaza. Add new Northbound and Southbound stops at MacArthur/Bristol. Weekdays: Adjust starting and ending times. Northbound buses run from 5:52 am to 7:02 pm and Southbound from 5:52 am to 7:02 pm.
