A GUIDE TO RTA’S AUGUST 15, 2021 SERVICE CHANGES

On August 15, RTA will improve your travel experience with more morning and evening trips, increased frequencies and enhanced connections with other routes and Metrolink trains. We’re also improving service to area schools and resuming service aboard the Temecula Trolley and Crest Cruiser. RTA will also resume separate weekday and weekend schedules for all routes.

With buses back at full capacity, it’s our pleasure to welcome you aboard.

This guide is designed to give you a preview of the service changes. More details can be found inside the new Ride Guide available online at RiversideTransit.com in early August.

ROUTE 1: All weekday trips in both directions will be adjusted with additional trips and improved frequencies. Buses will begin running as early as 3:22 a.m. and as late as 10:25 p.m. Adjustments will be made to improve connections with Route 204 and Metrolink trains.

ROUTE 3: All weekday trips in both directions will undergo schedule changes to maintain on-time performance, connections with other routes and overall efficiency. All weekday trip frequency in both directions will be adjusted from the current 120 minutes to 75 minutes. The route will also resume service to Norco College.

ROUTE 8: The route will begin service to the new Walmart Supercenter on Central Avenue. Service along Summerhill Drive will be reduced to certain morning and afternoon trips. The counterclockwise loop will include a stop at the Lake Elsinore Senior Activity Center on Lakeshore Drive. The route will no longer travel on Grape Street due to the closure of Walmart which has been relocated to Central Avenue.

ROUTE 9: The weekday schedule will be adjusted in both directions to improve on-time performance and connections with other routes at the Perris Station Transit Center.

ROUTE 10: The weekday schedule will be adjusted in both directions to improve on-time performance and boost efficiency.

ROUTE 11: All weekday trips in both directions will be adjusted to improve route efficiency. Trips will begin operating as early as 7:45 a.m. and as late as 7:20 p.m.

ROUTE 12: Weekday schedule adjustments will be made to trips in both directions to improve efficiency. A new portion of the route will be added in northern Riverside with morning and afternoon service along Main, Alamo and Rivera streets and Garner Road.

ROUTE 13: The weekday schedule will be adjusted in both directions to improve efficiency.

ROUTE 14: The weekday schedule will be adjusted in both directions to improve efficiency.

ROUTE 15: All weekday trips in both directions will be adjusted to boost service frequency from the current every 50 minutes to every 40 minutes. Weekday service will begin as early as 4:05 a.m. and as late as 8:40 p.m.

ROUTE 16: All weekday trips in both directions will be adjusted to boost service frequency to approximately every 16 minutes between 7:55 a.m. to 6:11 p.m. Weekday service will begin operating as early as 4:55 a.m. and as late as 10:13 p.m.

ROUTE 18: The weekday and weekend schedule will be adjusted to improve efficiency.

ROUTE 19: All weekday trips in both directions will be adjusted to increase service frequency and route efficiency. Weekday service will begin as early as 4:35 a.m. and run as late as 10:50 p.m. with better connections to Route 74 at the Perris Station Transit Center. The route will begin extended on-campus service to Moreno Valley College. This route will also resume service to the Ross/Lowe’s/Starcrest segment along Ramona Expressway, Indian Avenue, Morgan Street and Webster Avenue.

ROUTE 19A: Service will return to destinations along Trumble Road with a new morning trip departing the Perris Station Transit Center timepoint at 7:40 a.m. and an afternoon trip departing the Trumble Road at EXCEED timepoint at 3:25 p.m.

ROUTE 20: The route will be extended to serve the Moreno Valley/March Field Metrolink Station.

ROUTE 21: Weekday schedule adjustments will be made to improve efficiencies and connections to Route 29 in Jurupa Valley.

ROUTE 22: Weekday schedule adjustments will be made to improve connections with Route 27 at the Van Buren and Trautwein timepoint. A new southbound trip will depart the Parsons and Markham timepoint at 3:58 p.m.

ROUTE 23: The entire weekday schedule will undergo adjustments to maintain on-time performance and connections with other routes. A new northbound trip will depart Murrieta Valley High School at 2:50 p.m., while new southbound trips will depart the Inland Valley Medical Center at 6:53 a.m. and Vista Murrieta High School at 2:45 p.m.

ROUTE 24: The weekday schedule in both directions will be adjusted to improve efficiency, connections with other routes and on-time performance. This route will begin weekday service to the new Mt. San Jacinto College campus in Temecula using portions of Margarita Road, Nicole Lane and Overland Dr.

ROUTE 27: The weekday schedule in both directions will be adjusted to improve efficiency, connections with other routes and on-time performance.

ROUTE 28: All weekday trips in both directions will be adjusted to increase service frequency and maintain overall efficiency and connections with other routes. Trips will begin running as early as 4:37 a.m. and as late as 11:43 p.m.

ROUTE 29: The weekday schedule will be adjusted to maintain efficiency, on-time performance and connections to Route 21 in Jurupa Valley.

ROUTE 30: The weekday schedule will be adjusted to improve overall efficiency and connections with other routes. A new eastbound trip will depart the Orange Vista High School timepoint at 4 p.m.

ROUTE 31: A variety of weekday trips will be adjusted to maximize efficiency, connections with other routes and on-time performance.

ROUTE 32: The weekday schedule will be adjusted in both directions to improve on-time performance, connections with other routes and overall efficiency. New weekday routing will be added along San Jacinto Avenue and Idyllwild Drive, and a new northbound trip will depart the Hemet Valley Mall at 7:49 p.m.

ROUTE 33: The weekday schedule will be adjusted to maintain on-time performance and overall service efficiency. Service to Tahquitz High School will be improved with the addition of a new westbound morning trip arriving to the school at 7:35 a.m., and a new eastbound afternoon trip departing the school at 3:15 p.m.

ROUTE 41: The weekday schedule will be adjusted to maintain on-time performance, connections with other routes and overall efficiency. A new weekday eastbound trip will depart the Lasselle and Via de Anza timepoint at 4 p.m. with service to Moreno Valley College and Riverside University Medical Center.

ROUTE 42: The weekday schedule will be adjusted to maintain service efficiency, connections with other routes and on-time performance.

ROUTE 49: The weekday and weekend schedule will be adjusted to maintain service efficiency, connections with other routes and on-time performance.

ROUTE 51: Service resumes for Route 51 Crest Cruiser with weekday service from 7:29 a.m. to 5:29 p.m. between UC Riverside and Canyon Crest Towne Centre.

ROUTE 55: Service resumes for Route 55 Temecula Trolley with weekday service from 6:30 a.m. to 3:24 p.m. between the Promenade Mall and Harveston.

ROUTE 61: The weekday schedule will be adjusted to maintain on-time performance, connections with other routes and overall service efficiency. A new northbound trip will depart the Promenade Mall timepoint at 4:40 a.m. to enhance connections with Metrolink trains at the Perris Station Transit Center.

ROUTE 74: The weekday schedule will be adjusted to maximize overall service efficiency, on-time performance and connections with other routes. A new northbound trip will depart the Mt. San Jacinto College timepoint at 4:52 a.m. to enhance connections with Metrolink trains at the Perris Station Transit Center.

ROUTE 79: The weekday schedule will be adjusted to maintain on-time performance, connections with other routes and route efficiency. A new weekday southbound trip will depart Mt. San Jacinto College at 6:20 a.m. and a new weekday northbound trip will depart County Center at 2:45 p.m. Service will be extended to Old Town Temecula.

ROUTE 200: The weekday schedule will be adjusted to maintain on-time performance, connections with other routes and overall route efficiency.

ROUTE 204: The weekday schedule will be adjusted to maintain on-time performance, connections with other routes and overall route efficiency. The route will begin serving new bus stops on Canyon Crest Drive at UC Riverside.

ROUTE 206: The weekday schedule will be adjusted to maintain on-time performance, connections with other routes and overall route efficiency. The 4:35 p.m. southbound trip departing the Corona Transit Center will instead leave at 4:45 p.m. to improve connections with Metrolink trains.
