SamTrans August Service Changes
Effective Aug. 5, 2018, SamTrans will adjust or add service on several of its routes. Consult new timetables available onboard or visit www.samtrans.com/timetableupdates or call 1-800-660-4287 (TTY 650-508-6448).
SamTrans reviews and adjusts its schedules three times a year. The next schedule change will be January 2019.
Summary of Changes
SamTrans will reinstate the school-day only service on the following routes: 14, 16, 19, 25, 28, 29, 35, 37, 39, 46, 49, 53, 54, 55, 57, 58, 60, 62, 67, 68, 73, 78, 79, 80, 81, 82, 83, 84, 85, 87, 88, 95, 110, 112, 120, 250, 251, 256, and 260, and reinstate and adjust service on routes 18, 24, 49, 56, 59, 61, 72 and 141.
Service Changes 18
The nortbound morning trip from Miramontes will depart at 8:12 a.m. All other times will subsequently change. The first southbound morning trip will end at Main/Foster. The southbound bus will depart Main/7th at 7:54 a.m., 10 minutes earlier than current schedule.

The morning trip will depart at 7:05 a.m. and the afternoon trip will depart at 3:25 p.m. The route will be extended to serve Shasta High School as well as Westmoor High School.

The route will not serve San Bruno BART.

The route will start and end in Brisbane and will serve Oceana High School and Terra Nova High School. SFO AirTrain will not be served.

Northbound trip from San Carlos Caltrain will depart at 7:40 a.m., instead of 7:30 a.m. Southbound, Wednesdays, the 1:25 p.m. trip from Alameda @ Belmont Library will depart at 1:35 p.m.

The 2:43 p.m. trip will be eliminated due to low ridership. There is a 2:45 p.m. trip.
78/275
Routes 78 and 275 will merge and become Route 275. Buses will continue to serve Route 78 school-day only stops. No change in schedule.

Southbound, school-day only, the 6:58 a.m. trip departing Skyline/Westridge will shift to Daly City BART and depart at 6:51 a.m. for easier transfers from Route 121 onto Route 110 for Oceana and Terra Nova High School students living in the Southern Hills.

Northbound trip at 3:15 p.m. from Southgate/Lakeshire will depart from Westmoor High School.

The route will serve Shelter Creek hourly on Saturdays. School-day only trips to and from Peninsula High School will be adjusted. Consult new timetable.

The schedule will be adjusted to operate every 20 minutes on weekdays during peak times, every 30 minutes at off peak times. On Saturday, trips will run every 30 minutes and on Sundays every 40 minutes.

Additional adjustments to the schedule will be made due to detour between San Francisco International Airport and Airport/Baden.

Weekends, buses will depart 10 minutes after the hour.
398/KX
Routes 398 and KX will merge and become Route 398. Service will expand to operate between 5 a.m. and 11 p.m., seven days a week, between Redwood City and San Francisco. All existing bus stops will be served, including San Bruno BART.
292, 397, 398
San Francisco Transbay Terminal Stop Change Service for Routes 292, 397 and 398 buses will end and begin at Mission/1st Street, not Folsom/Beale.
