SamTrans 8-6-2017

Effective Sunday, August 6, SamTrans will adjust service and add two news routes. Consult new timetables available onboard or visit www.samtrans.com/schedules or call 1-800-660-4287 (TTY 650-508-6448).

SamTrans reviews and adjusts its schedules three times a year. The next schedule change will be January 2018.

Summary of Changes

SamTrans will reinstate the school-day only service on the following routes: 14, 16, 24, 25, 28, 29, 35, 37, 39, 46, 49, 53, 54, 55, 58, 67, 68, 72, 73, 79, 80, 81, 82, 83, 84, 85, 86, 87, 88, 95, 110, 112, 120, 250, 251, 256, and 260, and reinstate and adjust service on routes 18, 19, 56, 57, 59, 60, 61, 62 and 141.

Weekday and weekend service will be adjusted by up to 15 minutes.

These routes will be eliminated due to low ridership. Other routes currently serve riders in these service areas.

The 3:03 p.m. trip departing Linda Mar Park & Ride will be discontinued to improve efficiency.

A new school-day only route will serve Woodside High School and Cañada College neighborhoods in the morning and afternoon.

Northbound and southbound service will end and begin at Pope/Bellevue.

Most weekday and weekend trips will be adjusted by up to three minutes to improve efficiency.

School-day only trips will terminate at San Bruno BART.

Route 252 will be eliminated and replaced by a shuttle service operated by the City of San Mateo.

The northbound 8:32 am trip will depart the San Carlos Caltrain Station 10 minutes earlier to meet Carlmont High School bell times and will terminate at Alameda/Ralston on school-day only.

This new route will provide late night service between Daly City and the San Francisco International Airport seven days a week with one extra weekend trip. The route also serves the Westlake Shopping Center and connects with Muni Route 14.
