Service Changes: September 17, 2017
With the introduction of a number of major service improvements across the region, Spokane Transit’s service has grown significantly in 2017. On September 17, 2017, Spokane Transit will bring even more enhancements to the transit system, including non-stop weekday express service between Liberty Lake and Downtown, and extended night and weekend service on the Nevada and Lidgerwood lines.
These service changes will help maintain, improve and expand transit services throughout the Spokane region to meet the needs of our growing community. Some service changes are part of STA Moving Forward, the 10-year transit plan voters approved in 2016, while others are included as a part of our regular evaluation and improvement process.
Service changes effective September 17, 2017. All schedule pages have been updated.
20 SFCC - Schedule adjustments to improve reliability
24 Monroe - Frequency improved to 30 minutes on Saturday nights, Sundays and holidays
25 Division - On-time performance improvements and new shelters
26 Lidgerwood - Line extended past Magnesium to East Jay and North Dakota 7 days a week
28 Nevada - Line extended to end of route 7 days a week
29 SCC - Schedule adjustments to improve reliability
32 Trent/Montgomery - Schedule adjustments to improve reliability
33 Wellesley - Schedule adjustments to improve reliability
34 Freya - Schedule adjustments to improve reliability
39 Mission - Schedule adjustments to improve reliability
44 29th Ave - Schedule adjustments to improve reliability
90 Sprague - On-time performance improvements and new shelters
95 Mid-Valley - Schedule adjustments to improve reliability
96 Pines/Sullivan - Schedule adjustments to improve reliability
97 South Valley - Schedule adjustments to improve reliability
98 Liberty Lake via Sprague - Schedule adjustments to improve reliability
172 Liberty Lake Express (New) - New, non-stop weekday service between Liberty Lake and Downtown
174 Liberty Lake Express - Route name change to Route 74 Mirabeau/Liberty Lake and added 30-minute mid-weekday service
