NEW TRANSIT ROUTE SCHEDULES EFFECTIVE SUNDAY, AUGUST 12

Schedules available in new Sun Tran route booklets

TUCSON, Ariz. – Starting August 12th, new service changes will begin for multiple Sun Tran, Sun Express and Sun Shuttle routes. All transit users should check their individual schedules for details as many routes have been updated. Service changes include:

• Weekday and weekend schedule adjustments – multiple Sun Tran, Sun Express and Sun Shuttle Routes.

• Route 2 redirected to travel on Cherrybell Stravenue to serve the El Rio Health Center.

• New optional stops and reroutes – several Sun Shuttle Routes.

Current schedules and routes, set to expire August 4th, will remain active until the new effective date.

Passengers can find updated schedule and route information online or with Sun Tran’s new Route Schedule booklets, available on vehicles and at approximately 300 locations throughout Tucson, starting August 1st. The following booklets will replace the Ride Guide:

• Sun Tran Routes 1-99 Schedule: Provides passengers with complete route schedules and fares for Sun Tran regular fixed-routes 1-99.

• Sun Express Schedule: Provides passengers with complete route schedules and fares for Sun Express Routes 101X-204X.

• Tucson Transit User Guide: Provides new rider information, including how to ride, how to pay fares, and where to buy SunGO Cards. Riders will also find information about eligibility for economy fare, Park & Ride locations, regional transit options, and accessible services.
