24-hour service, New PDX night bus, More frequent service

Line 272-PDX Night Bus

All-night service to the airport

Whether you work at PDX, or you have a plane to catch, this new line ensures you always have options. Running along 82nd Ave between Montavilla and PDX, Line 272 runs during the overnight hours when MAX Red Line is not in service.

Service begins September 2nd, with buses running every 60 minutes between about 2 and 4 a.m.

Line 20-Burnside/Stark

24-hour service

Around-the-clock service is returning to Portland for the first time in over 30 years. Combined with Line 57 and the new Line 272, it is now possible to travel between Forest Grove all the way to Gresham or the airport all night long.

Line 20 will now have buses running every 60 minutes between about midnight and 4 a.m., in addition to existing service.

Line 57-TV Hwy/Forest Grove

24-hour service

Around-the-clock service is returning to Portland for the first time in over 30 years. Combined with Line 20 and the new Line 272, Line 57 provides a way to get from Forest Grove all the way to Gresham or the airport all night long.

Line 57 will now have buses running every 60 minutes between about 12:30 and 3:30 a.m., in addition to existing service.

Line 73-122nd Ave

A Frequent Service upgrade

Our newest Frequent Service Line provides an important North-South connection to East Portland. Buses will now run every 15 minutes or better most of the day, every day.

Line 81-Kane/257th

An easier ride to work

We're adding more morning and evening buses to this connection to major job centers in Troutdale.

Line 81 will now have buses every 30 minutes between 6 and 9 a.m. and between 4 and 7 p.m., and service on the line will run until 11:30 p.m.

Line 96-Tualatin/I-5

Lunchtime service to get you home

Downtown Portland is now short hop away from Tualatin all day long. Buses will run every 30 minutes in between existing rush-hour service.

Line 4-Fessenden, Line 2-Division

Line 4-Division/Fessenden is now Line 2 and Line 4

We're splitting our longest line, 4-Division/Fessenden, in two: Line 2-Division and Line 4-Fessenden. This will make each line more reliable and help us keep buses on time.

Both lines will continue to offer Frequent Service, with buses coming every 15 minutes or better most of the day, every day. Riders can transfer between the two lines on 5th and 6th avenues in Downtown Portland.

MAX Red Line

We're adding later trips to Portland International Airport!

  • The last train from Beaverton TC to PDX now leaves Beaverton 10 minutes later, at 10:51 p.m.
  • The last train from PDX to Beaverton TC will now leave at 12:26 a.m. This train will continue to Willow Creek.
  • Late night trips from Rose Quarter TC to PDX now depart at 11:55 p.m., 12:25 a.m. and 12:55 a.m.
  • Late night trips from PDX to Gateway TC, continuing on to Ruby Junction/E 197th Ave, depart at 12:56 a.m., 1:26 a.m. and 1:41 a.m.
  • Trains will come more frequently at night.
  • We've made additional minor schedule adjustments.
