VTA 1-15-2024
The following bus service changes will take effect on Monday, January 15, 2024. There will be no light rail changes. Click the route name and schedule to see the upcoming schedule.

| 20 (Milpitas BART - Sunnyvale Transit Ctr.) | The stop at Milpitas BART will be moved to Bay #3. |
| 21 (Stanford Shopping Ctr. - Santa Clara Transit Ctr.) | Saturday: Service will be extended to serve the entire route to Santa Clara, and the service hours will extend to operate from 8 a.m. through 9 p.m. Service will operate every 45 minutes until 6 p.m. Sunday: Service will be extended to serve the entire route to Santa Clara, and service hours extend to start at 8:30 a.m. through 7:30 p.m. |
| 23 (De Anza Coll - Alum Rock via Stevens Crk.) | The bus stop at 2nd & Santa Clara will be moved to a different bus bay in conjunction with Routes 66, 68, 523 & 568. Weekday: Minor schedule adjustments will be made. |
| 27 (Winchester Stn. - Kaiser SJ via Dtwn. Los Gatos) | The route will terminate at Santa Teresa Station due to long term construction at Kaiser San Jose. Buses will remain on Cottle Rd. and Santa Teresa Blvd. A new timepoint will be added at Poughkeepsie & Cottle.Weekday: Evening frequency will be improved, and service will extend to 10 p.m. Other minor schedule adjustments will be made. Saturday: The service hours will be expanded to operate from 7 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Sunday: The service hours will be expanded to operate from 8 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. |

| 56 (Lockheed Stn. - Tamien Stn.) | The route will be extended from Tamien Station to Monterey & Old Tully via Alma and Monterey. Weekday: Early morning service will be improved to start at 5:30 a.m. The evening frequency will be improved in the northbound direction. Saturday: The service hours will extend to operate from 7 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.Sunday: The service hours will be extended to 9 p.m. An earlier northbound trip will be added leaving Hamilton & Winchester at 7:50 a.m. |

Buses will remain on Santa Teresa Blvd. The bus stop at 2nd & Santa Clara will be moved to a different bus bay in conjunction with Routes 23, 68, 523 & 568. Weekday/Saturday: The 11:28 p.m. northbound trip will be extended to Dixon & Milpitas. |
| 68 (San Jose Diridon - Gilroy TC) | The bus stop at 2nd & Santa Clara will be moved to a different bus bay in conjunction with Routes 23, 66, 523 & 568. No schedule changes will be made. |
| 70 (Milpitas BART - Capitol Stn. via Jackson) | The stop at Milpitas BART will be moved to Bay #12. Weekday/Weekend: Minor schedule adjustments will be made. |
| 71 (Milpitas BART - Eastridge via White) | This route will become a Frequent route. Weekday: The frequency will be improved to operate every 15 minutes from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Saturday: The frequency will be improved to operate every 20 minutes from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday: Minor schedule adjustments will be made. |

| 500 (San Jose Diridon - Berryessa BART) | Weekday: Minor schedule adjustments will be made to coordinate with the new BART schedule. The last southbound trip will leave Berryessa BART at 2:10 a.m. to ensure a connection from the last BART train. | 523 (San Jose State - Lockheed Martin via De Anza) | New stops will be added at Stevens Creek & Stern and Stevens Creek & Winchester. The timepoint at Santana Row will be moved to Winchester. The bus stop at 2nd & Santa Clara will be moved to a different bus bay in conjunction with Routes 23, 66, 68 & 568. Weekday/Weekend: Minor schedule adjustments will be made. |
